Jacob

Piercing blue eyes, a body with all the right curves, high cheek bones, and perfectly plump lips. If I took those glasses off, changed the colour of her hair, I'd find red.

Only, it wasn't her. It was some random dancer in a strip club called Libby. Yet, I could still feel an electrical current pulling me towards her; influencing me to ask for a dance.

I slightly shook my head, shaking away all my ridiculous thoughts, and watched intently as she made her decision. For some reason, my question had sparked something. I saw it in her eyes. Panic maybe? I wasn't sure. Why would she have to panic?

"I'm sorry, I'm finished. Nice meeting you"

She dashed off past me, her arm slightly bumping into mine.

Coconuts and chocolate.

Was all I could smell as she drifted past me in such a rush.

No? Surely not?

I told myself to stop being ridiculous and watched as she scurried away to the dressing rooms.

I couldn't get the sight of her out my head, the scent, and I couldn't understand why she would have to panic so much. So I chased after her. The most rational decision, but hopefully worth it. I had to find out. I needed to know if it was red.

I pushed past a throng of people, my eyes locked on her the whole way. All I could smell was sweat and beer. I missed her smell. Coconuts and chocolate. It motivated me to move faster, and I could faintly hear Daniel in the background shouting me.

I was about to cancel last minute. I wasn't going to come. After yesterday, after almost getting fired, and my mind refusing to break all thoughts of Red, I got an early night and forced myself to sleep. Only I woke with a raging hard on from the most erotic dreams. All associating her. So I told myself I wasn't in the mood to go a strip club, I needed to find someone to push her out my system. I intended to go to a proper bar and meet someone. Then I thought, what better way to forget a woman and find another, than to go to a strip club? Worst decision of my life as I was now chasing a gorgeous blonde, convinced it was red. I'd actually lost my mind.

As I got closer, her hands came up to push the door in front of her open. I practically jumped to grab her, and when I did my eyes almost shot out my head.

Coconuts and chocolate.
Red nails.
Piercing blue eyes.
No glasses

There was no doubting I'd either lost my mind completely, or red worked as a dancer in a strip club.

I watched her chest rise up and down in rapid breaths, she swallowed hard, and her eyes went frantic. It was her. It had to be her.

"Rhiannon?"

Silence. More panic, more frantic breathing, but complete silence. I'd hit the nail on the head.

"It's lib-"

"Don't lie to me" I interrupted, desperate to know. It was her. Why was she doing this.

"Get off me" she pulled back, and ran through the door before I could yell stop.

I stood for ages just watching the door. Why would she do this job? She didn't need to work at all, never mind something like this. I raked my hand through my hair as I tried to comprehend what was happening. I'd known her two days and in all that time I'd never been more shocked by a woman, but I'd also never been more attracted. Despite her career, despite the fact she strips and dances for other men, I still want her. And I'm worried in what way that is.
