Jacob

Getting Red out of my apartment was more difficult than I anticipated. Once she pointed out the door man her father had spoken to, I cursed. Mr Vinman was my favourite, but I wasn't naive enough to believe he'd lie to my boss for me. I had to come up with a plan, and fast.

"There is a back route, but I'd much rather wait until his shift has finished before I sneak you out of here." A sexy smirk grew across her face. "What's that look for?"

Edging closer, playing with the tie I'd just put on, she said, "I just didn't realise how naughty it was to sneak around like this. I kinda enjoy it baby." She pecked my lips, hovering softly over them as she continued. Her breath warmed my skin. "So naughty, so dirty, I might just want round two already."

Fuck! She just had to go there didn't she? Here I was, suit and tie - ready for work - and she had to stir something inside me. I was already hard and throbbing for her before her hand even lowered to my crotch. The sensations building inside me from just that single touch, was too much. So intense I had to relieve myself. I gripped her hair, pulling her upwards and throwing her over my shoulder. "Do you know what you get for being such a tease?" She giggled, gripping tightly to my shirt. I smacked her ass and threw her on the bed. I wanted so bad to take her again, but when I glanced at the clock I knew I couldn't. Her dad was fuming enough, I wasn't about to be late too.

"Do you not need to be in work today?" I asked, worried in case she did.

"No," she shook her head, seriousness falling over her face. "I can phone and say I'm at the college doing work. He'll believe me."

"Okay." I pulled myself up, adjusting my pants as best I could. She was lay there on my bed with her red curls sprawled across my comforter, there was no way my cock was shrinking until I left this room. She was too tempting.

"I'll be here when you get back."

Her words were like added oxygen to my body. A weird sense of relief washed over me, yet they frightened me all at the same time. I've never had a woman stay the night, never mind be here when I get home. It was an unfamiliar feeling that sat way too nicely in my gut. It was comforting knowing I wasn't coming home alone.

"Is that okay?" Her eyes deepened with fear.

"Of course it is, beautiful." And it was. Strangely, I wanted this. I was thankful her dad did what he did - to an extent. "I have to ask, who was that guy last night? The one that scared you?"

She stilled, eyes wide and I'm sure her body shook a little. This was a similar reaction to the other guy outside her dads work. I was starting to get worried about her, and more intrigued to know what was going on.

"It's nobody. Don't worry." She stood, smoothing her outfit as she began cleaning the room when it was already clean.

"Rhiannon, it clearly was. Tell me."

She had her back turned, but I heard the sigh she made. "He's someone to do with the club. A customer that couldn't get his own way, that's all."

I wanted so bad to believe her, but I couldn't. It made partial sense because that's where he attacked her, but I know there's more to it. How I was going to convince her to tell, I don't know. But I intend to, one way or another.

"Okay, if you're sure. Maybe you should speak to your boss." I walked towards her.

She turned around. "Yeah, I think I will." A big smile played across her face but I knew it was fake.

I kissed her one last time before leaving for work, hoping Mr Red didn't have anymore surprises up his sleeve for me. And hoping to god she was okay here on her own.

Rhiannon

The door slammed shut and I relaxed. I've been rigid since he asked that question about yesterday. There was no way I was telling him the full truth about Xavier, I couldn't. No one would know, and it would stay like that.

I reached for my phone, dialling dads number. Hopefully he wouldn't be too angry with me. "Hey dad, it's me-"

"Rhiannon? Where have you been! I've been calling all morning!" His voice boomed down the phone. I was in shit.

"I'm sorry dad, I stayed at a friends. I'm at the college doing work, I came here straight from Hannah's house." I didn't even have a friend called Hannah, he was just too gullible.

"Are you sure you're okay?!" He asked, slight edge to his voice, but less angry.

"Yes, dad. I'm perfect."

"Okay, good. I need you to come to dinner tomorrow night at the country club, I have a friend that would like to meet you." Excitement filled his voice, who could he be referring to?

"Okay, but who?"

"Do you remember Mr and Mrs Castaway? Well, their son - Thomas - has returned from Boston. His business is booming! He's earning millions already because his mom and dad helped him. They invited us to dinner and he requested you be there."

I was stunned. Why would he request I be there? Dinner with those three was the last place I wanted to be tomorrow night. I remembered them alright, they were obsessed with me and Thomas getting married when I was only aged fourteen. How could I forget them.

"Dad, as great as that is for him, I'd rather not-"

"It's sorted, tomorrow night. I'll see you there, darling." He ended the call and I almost screamed. Who did he think he was? There was no way I was attending that dinner. I knew exactly what it was for.

My stomach clenched when the picture of Jacob came into my head. If he knew what my dad had planned, he wouldn't be happy. The last thing I wanted was Jacob annoyed at my dad, and vice versa. I was not attending that dinner.
