There was one thing you were told if you were in a known gang in England. Beware of Steph Vanslow.
James Vanslow had one daughter. Steph Vanslow. Both in which were in a gang called the Black Lights, James' gang. He knew his daughter was beautiful and knew every single man in England was drooling over her, waiting for the day she turned 18.
And when she did she didn't hesitate to use her beauty and aura to her advantage. It was as if she could put anyone under a spell and they would praise her and admire her no matter what.
Her gift to manipulate people to her advantage was soon to become a big issue. She had many gang leaders under her foot but as soon as she let them go they would obsess over her. The men couldn't get her out of their heads causing a long line of enemies to the Black Lights - and Steph Vanslow.
There would be a lot of speculation in towns and theories of Steph's incredible talent and beauty, many in which saying she was the devil herself.
Steph's use of her tongue when talking with enemies would often lead them to go crazy within seconds. She always did her research which would always come to an advantage.
Many gangsters would tell themselves and others that they would never come under the spell of Steph Vanslow's ways, but did in fact fail that task. One man which said this went by the name of Tommy Shelby.
Steph found out about this mystery man whilst she was in Italy for a short break with her father, although it turned out to be more of a business break. The family's close friend Luca Changretta had explained what this man did to his father, which was how he had come to her attention.
James decided in order to help Luca, they would have to get into business with Tommy Shelby, and his gang, the Peaky blinders.
