"It didn't work. IT DIDN'T FUCKING WORK." James shouted to himself. He was in his wagon reading the letter Luca had sent. The plan for the men to kill Arthur didn't work. Arthur managed to kill them both. Although Steph shouldn't have, she felt proud of Arthur. Of course she wasn't happy he had done that, she was amazed at his courage and persistence. You may even say it inspired her.
"Well what shall we do?" Steph asked entering the wagon her father was throwing a fit in. James gave her a hard glare considering she just wandered into his wagon.
"You fucking think of a plan alright?" He raised his voice at her, which was getting more and more usual. Steph nodded. "Promise me you'll win this." He said grabbing at her wrists rather tightly. He stared her down whilst she nodded - but he was waiting for a verbal answer. An eyebrow raised and Steph said "I promise." James let go and pushed her out the door. "Think then."
She went back and sat in a chair by the lake, examining her burning wrists. There were small nail marks in but nothing too serious. She thought and decided to stick to the plan of getting Miss Ross involved. She devised a plan of which Miss Ross would invite one of the Shelby's, most likely Arthur, to his house for a 'forgiveness celebration". Although they wouldn't target Arthur, in fact they would go straight to Micheal at the hospital.
Having devised the perfect plan Steph transferred it onto Luca. Now to wait.
Tommy rang and Steph travelled up to his office. "What's happened?" She asked, innocence playing on her tongue. Tommy was sat down hunched over scribbling down a diagram. Steph strutted over and sat in the seat opposite, as usual. "Arthur's been invited to some fucking Christian forgiveness service?" He said, almost question like.
"How on earth is this relevant to me?" Steph said. Her approach was a logical one.
"From the woman who's son got murdered, by Arthur." He explained still not looking up.
"Right. Not a coincidence then." She stated. Clearly Tommy wasn't fully engaged in their conversation so she looked around the room. Noticing a placard she squinted her eyes looking at it. It was behind Tommy's desk and the writing was rather small, so it took her a while.
It was a Shelby company limited partnership plac, although she was confused to see her own name up there. "I'm not your partner Mr Shelby." She snorted, completely amused at his obsession with her. His head shot up looking flustered.
"Well yeah- err Lizzie wanted it up. Appreciate- and you know." He awkwardly laughed.
Steph smiled at him staring at his pink face. "Flustered?" She chuckled. Tommy looked back down and attempted to continue working. "Just playing Thomas, of course we are partners. Although not the one I would put up on the wall in appreciation. Maybe don't put up the ones which help you win Vendettas. I believe that's rather illegal." She smirked at him.
Tommy regained control again and began to continue. "I've made a plan."
"As have I." Steph cut in.
"Right, I've made one which Arthur will go but we will have all hands on deck as back up. We know these streets better than them so there's no chance they can win this battle." He explained.
"I completely agree." She smiled again. Tommy sat there taking in her appearance properly for the first time today. Her hair was slightly wavy and makeup perfect, as usual.
He hated the fact that he'd fallen for her. And he had to admit it. There was nothing more he wanted to do than touch her, be close to her. There was a sexual tension that he felt so strongly but had no idea if she had even noticed. If she had she was one amazing actress. He had so say something, and couldn't stop himself from doing so.
"You're mesmerising." He burst out. A grin slowly plastered along Steph's face. Tommy sat waiting impatiently for her to answer, despite the fact it hadn't been seconds.
"Stop Mr Shelby," she said playfully "that was so unprofessional." she raised an eyebrow. Understanding her flirtatious tone he decided to continue.
"I apologise Miss Vanslow you're right. Nothing like that in the work place. How about we take it back to mine?" He smirked at her shooting his shot.
Flattered, and rather amused she decided to play with him. "Oh but that's too far." She pouted looking up at him seductively.
Tommy thought for a minute. He wasn't used to doing this kind of sexy talk, more of hiring a prostitute and bending them over. He looked around the room and then back at her, starting to feel a bulge in his pants. "I suppose I could make an exception. Just because you are a very special woman." He said urging himself closer.
Steph's eyes followed his as he made his way round the desk to be in front of her. He leaned back slightly, bum on the desk and watched her carefully.
"You are so naughty Mr Shelby." She said moving in her chair so she was propped up by her elbows.
"Luckily I'm the boss then." He smirked. Holding his hands out for Steph to grab. She did and he pulled her in close. One hand on her lower back, moving towards her ass, and the other still holding her hand.
They stayed for a minute staring in each other's eyes before Tommy's shut and leant in. He kissed her deeply and passionately before she pulled away quickly, leaving him with only a peck.
She looked him dead in the eye as confusion washed over him. "You're hot, but no."
A/n thanks for sticking around for this long awaited part. School is just ugh. I hope you all are okay and feel free to message me if you need anything x
