Steph sat herself down on the table in Micheal's hospital room. He was already sat round reading a book. He acknowledged her and put the book down.

"Good morning." He said bluntly. "Morning." Steph said returning the attitude. Steph was slouched back in her chair.

"You are probably wondering if I'll tell Tommy." He commented smugly. Did he really think Steph would let him get away with blackmail?

"You wont." She laughed. Micheal's head cocked up reading her facial expression.

"I will." He shot back defensively.

Steph say forward and held herself up by her elbows, smiling deviously. "You are no better than I am Mr Grey."

Micheal sat there for a moment. She knows, She knows kept repeating in his head over and over, and he wasn't wrong. He just didn't know how to handle it.

"No idea what you're talking about." He said avoiding her eyes. Micheal wasn't a good actor at all.

Steph just sat with her eyes burning into his brains waiting for him to give in, which he did.

Micheal's eyes darted round the room trying to not let this piece of information out of his mouth. "She made the deal." He blurted and quickly covered his mouth after.

Steph smiled at him, and too herself. Easy, She thought.

"Let's talk further Mr Grey. I think you and I will get along just fine." She chuckled.

Micheal sighed and knew there was no other choice. "She told me yesterday. I knew something was up and they were gone by a mile before you guys came in! Luca said something about asking my mother of the 'deal' was still on." He explained with furrowed eyebrows. "So I asked, obviously and she said that she'd made a deal to give up Tommy in exchange for keeping me alive." He looked at her pleadingly.

Steph nodded her head. "Thanks." She said standing up. "I'll keep your secret if you keep mine." She suggested, but it was more of a threat.

"No no you can't leave yet." Micheal said slowly standing and moving towards her. "You have to tell me your side." He said.

Steph's eyebrows raised. "I don't have to tell you anything." She mocked his tone once again. A grin played on her lips. Teasing was too fun.

"Fine." Micheal said sitting back down. He picked up his book again and started reading. Steph picked up her things and got to the door. "Unless.."

Steph turned eyeing him to go on.

"Unless I tell Tommy.." he smirked.

Steph walked quickly over to Micheal and grabbed him by the collar. She pulled a knife out of her boot and held it against his neck. "Don't mess with me Mr Grey. I'll fuck you up in ways even a psychopath couldn't imagine."

Micheal looked flustered and was glowing red.

Steph pulled away and reinserted the knife back into her boot. "Good day Mr Grey." She said turning to leave once again.

"Is this what you do with all your enemies because damn.. I wish I was one right now."

Steph laughed. "Nice one." She said and finally left.

Gross.

Why was it that boys always hit on her over the weirdest things!? A knife to his throat. A knife to his throat. That's what turned him on out of all the things! Men these days are losing their minds.

Back at home Steph avoided her father. She stayed locked up in her wagon with Oliver. They sat there talking for hours and attempting to stay hidden from James for hours, although with noon coming in fast Steph knew she couldn't avoid her father forever especially at dinner.

At around 5:30 Steph and Oliver made their way to the campfire where many of the black lights were lighting the fire which was to be cooked on and drinking beers. The black lights would sit in a semi circle facing Steph and James seats as if they were sitting on thrones. Steph pulled over a chair and sat it next to her own one.

"You okay?" He smiled at her exhaling heavily.

She nodded rubbing her palms together. "Nervous but yes I'm ok. Are you?" She replied.

He nodded back and they sat observing the atmosphere. As much as Steph hated her father, she knew how much this meant for him. And this was home for them both.

James came over a while later mid way dinner whilst everyone was eating. He nodded at Oliver and smiled at Steph. He was ignored by both.

James got his food and sat down. "In my wagon after dinner Steph." He said.

Steph looked for a tone in his voice which had some sour hint to it but couldn't find anything much to her shock. So she finished up and followed him in.

Their conversation went something like always.

"You sort it?"

"Yes"

"That's my girl."
