I sat in the car with Martha while we were driving to school to pick up my cap and gown...graduation is a week away...I'm not ready to say goodbye yet. The sisters are going upstate with their parents right after graduation so we'll only get a few minutes with them till they leave, James and Thomas are heading to Virginia for a best friend road trip, John and I are still gonna be in New York since we have no family to visit, and Laf and Herc are doing a couples trip to France for a few weeks. We basically have two months to goof off and not do shit until college is ready to accept us in, I let out a sigh as I leaned against the car door "what's wrong Alex?" Martha asked while glancing back at me "I don't wanna say goodbye to my friends" I mumbled "aww Alex you'll see them soon" "tch yeah in like two months" I grumbled "Alexander" Martha scolded "sorry..." I mumbled "it's okay...you still have a week left to be with them, so you can still make the most of what little time you have left " she said and I instantly brighten up "your right! I heard there's gonna be a carnival in town today maybe we can go!" I exclaimed "yea! That's sounds like a great idea!" Martha exclaimed hyping me up more than necessary. When we arrived at home I quickly got out the car and ran towards the house, when I was inside my room I texted everyone in the group chat
