When Revenant woke up in the morning Loba was not there in his arms anymore. He had his towel to cover his groin and his clothes folded perfectly on the side table beside the sofa. He slowly sat up, holding his head as his eyes were still trying to get adjusted to the light coming from the windows. Where did she go?
He quickly picked up his clothes and started dressing himself, memories from the previous night were now flooding his mind and yet everything was blurry in his head.

After practically searching her whole room for her, he found nothing but signs that she had prepared and left without even bothering to wake him up. Thoughts of abandonment and regret took over him but he decided that he should not linger longer than necessary and make his way to his room.

As soon as he opened the door the hallways were already bustling with the other legends, who did not recognize him in the slightest. Most of them weren't interested and didn't notice him however, Mirage seemed to raise an eyebrow as he noticed how an unknown person came out of Loba's room.
He approached him head on.
"Hi! The name's Mirage and you are?"
"Sorry I've got to go."
He tried to push past him but his attempts were futile as he kept insisting and asking more questions on top of others.
"Are you a friend of Loba? Do you know her? What were you do-"
"Listen I don't have time for this-"
"Hey, cut him some slack."
Finally, a well known voice came from behind the two males, Loba stood between them with both her hands on her hips, wearing a look on her face that clearly said don't mess with me all over.

Mirage did not budge.
"C'monnnn I've never seen anyone enter your roooom- figures getting out of it!"
"Not your business,"
"But-"
At that point he pretty much earned himself a smack on the head as he kept insisting, eventually leaving as instructed with a pouty face. He rounded a corner but he definitely was still listening in.
"Uh- thanks,"
"You know you can't hide forever, right?"
"I'm aware of that. I'm just hoping it'll go away eventually or something..."
"Pfft, you just think you can undo that that easily?"
"...Where were you anyways?"
"I went on a short walk, why, are you hungry?"
She said so with a certain glint in her eyes which could be mistaken as flirting or mocking. He wasn't sure either.
"Do you want to join me for breakfast then?"

At this point Mirage's head was visible from the corner but they both decided to ignore it completely.
"How sweet, next thing I know you're gonna ask me on a date,"
"Am I not allowed to?"
At that point Loba went silent, unable to come up with a reply as she was taken by surprise.
Revenant decided to push it further.
"Mhm? What's that? I can't hear you, does this mean I can't take you out?"
Loba went red in embarrassment.
"...You can take me out on a date..."
"Sorry? I didn't hear, what did you say?"
"I SAID-"
But then she realized she was losing her composure and put both her hands on her face, quickly dragging revenant to the kitchen without saying a single word.

After having breakfast the two parted ways, not wanting to attract even more attention than they've already done. With Mirage's blabber rumors were already being spread and they didn't want to give more wood to the fire than what they've already done.
When Revenant got to his room, he slowly sank down to the floor. The realization finally hit him.

The previous night was not a dream, it was real. For the first time in over 300 years, he felt alive. He felt so many things at once it was hard to describe, to the point that everything else felt like nothing compared to that. Although he wasn't sure why Loba even wanted him, but that was something she would have to confess in her own time. In the meanwhile, he was going to spend his remaining free time to prepare himself and plan ahead in his head all kinds of different scenarios for his date with Loba, unaware that she was doing the same.
