Chapter 3

                                  A WEEK LATER
                            
                                     ADAM'S POV

As discussed we made plans in the up coming week to meet up with Matt and Ember. We decide to just meet up at Matt place for the first time around because we thought it would make thing's easier for Ember and she would be more at ease... Hopefully this time goes better than the last time... here's hoping. I am trying to hurry Adam along but for some reason he's taking his sweet time this time, usually he's the first one to be ready".

"ADAM!! come on and hurry up, we are going to be late". "How is it that im ready before you?".

"Because I'm nervous as all hell Katie. What if I fuck thing's up again?, what if Ember freaks out?.

Plus I don't want them to pick up on the fact that Katie and I are actually having issues in the relationship, I don't want to have to sit there and explain myself to everyone.

"Well don't do anything stupid like ignoring her to freak her out". "And if something does happen we give her space to calm down, or we leave and try again another day"... "You have to realize babe, this hole senecio is based on what Ember's comfort level is at and nothing more". "She knows deep down that we love her, it just takes time and patience babe".

"I know babe, I just want tonight to go well"... "Ok, let's get going before we're really late".

We grab the keys and lock the doors, climbing into the truck heading to Matt new place.

"I can't believe he moved since we last saw them". "He said that the other place just felt too small"... "Honestly though Adam, I think it was all the old memories of the past that place held for him that made him need the change".

We pull up to the address Matt gave us and stare at the house in awe.

"Wow Adam, this place is incredible!!".

"Man he found a real beauty".

"I wonder what the inside looks like. Come on let's go babe".

We get out of the truck and are greeted by Matt, then Ember. She even gave us both hugs which surprises us, but we don't question it. We step in the house and the floor plan is amazing.

We got the full grand tour, he had gotten a two bedroom house so that if Ember ever needed her owne space she would have it. She said she was thankful that they found a place where the bedrooms were side by side, they still sleep in the same room most night's though.... I love that it's open floor plan.

Ember is sitting on the couch and Matt is sitting on the arm of the chair next to her with his leg's on either side of her, she has her arm's wrapped around one of his legs, im guessing probably because it helps to keep her anchored or something so she doesn't freak out...They look happy... Content.

We actually managed to have a real good visit but at the end we could tell Ember was getting tired. So we said our goodbyes, and promised to see eachother again soon, this was a great day!!.

Adam and I have been doing alot better since we reconnected with, Ember and, Matt. It finally feel's like thing's are going to be ok, although he has been working late alot more lately because he say's his boss wants him to close this big shipping deal or some shit, idk. Anyway, he's been a little vague with detail's.
