As the years pass Sirius keeps his word to Remus. They always made up after every argument, neither one could stay mad at the other for long, and even after almost 15 years of almost no conversation, despite the fact Remus has moved on, Sirius still tries to convince him to be in a relationship again. Although it doesn't work, they were still friends and always would be. Remus was undoubtedly stuck with Sirius forever, even if they were just friends.
