Corpse

Rose POV 

"Comrade this is boring." I whispered to Dimitri whining and pouting at the same time "I know Roza, I know." Dimitri whispered back holding my hand. Today is the meeting regarding the corpse of Viktor Dashkov. The Dashkov Family; Peter, Gia, Erin, Noah and Brooke are here to convince us that we should allow them to take Viktor Dashkov back to Bulgaria.

"Way to ruin my honeymoon." Mia mumbled I chuckled and nudged her elbow. Mia and Alexander arrived this morning grumpy since they had to cancel their trip to Japan since the Dashkov Family demanded a hearing for Viktor Dashkov. Bastard's wish got granted he is famous and people are still talking about him. 

"23 people voted no while 14 voted yes, how about you Rose and Dimitri Belikov?" Lissa asked sighing "Does the baby get a vote?" Christian asked rolling his eyes, obviously he is bored and pissed, we've been here in the meeting room for the past 4 hours listening to the reasons of the Dashkov Family on why their dead clan leader should be moved to Bulgaria, and these are their reasons: 

1. His body deserves proper burial 

2. He contributed a lot to the Moroi and Dhampir Society 

3. It is mandatory that a dead Dashkov Family member should be buried in Bulgaria along with the ancestors. 

4. Viktor Dashkov did some good things in life and he doesn't deserve to be buried in a pit with snakes that were taken in Brazil. 

5. Viktor Dashkov deserves respect. 

"I vote no, Viktor Dashkov attempted to murder the Queen, he also attempted to take away the monarchy from her, he even kidnapped the council and used them as hostage." I said "Your mother killed Queen Tatiana though, I'm surprise you're still alive." Erin Dashkov said obviously pissed. "Rose didn't kill Queen Tatian, the blood of the dead Queen isn't in her hands, Janice Hathaway is not her full blood mother and the reason why you can wonder the world freely is because Rose and her blood line, finished off the strigoi's. Oh and in case you didn't know, your Uncle Viktor Dashkov teamed up with the strigoi just to get the monarchy from Queen Vasilissa. So no I vote for no." Dimitri said glaring at Erin, the tone of his voice was cold, he was mad. 

I squeezed Dimitri's hand and he looked away at Erin "25 voted for no." Lissa said tapping the pen on the table "At least give him a proper burial. Since you won't let us take him back to Bulgaria." Erin said sighing "Fine, he will be buried along with the dead guardians and moroi's he recruited at the cemetery in the forest, but." Alexander said "But what?" Erin asked "It will be your family who will dig up the grave to take his body." Alexander said finishing his sentence. 

"But there's snakes." Brooke said "Fully aware of that." Mr. Conta said "Dig up the grave I'll have someone take care of the snakes, Viktor Dashkov don't have a coffin by the way, oh before I forget, it will also be your family who will dig up a new grave for him at the cemetery." Alexander said with his arms crossed. 

"Do you approve Your Majesty?" Mrs. Szelsky asked all of looked at Lissa and she is staring at her pen which is floating. "This is unfair and cruel!" Brooke said "Would have rather have him rotting in a pit with snakes or nah?" Lissa asked looking at Brooke with her eyebrow raised "You better answer now, 4 and a half hours of my time is already gone, my best friend hasn't eaten her lunch yet and remember she's pregnant so tic to." 

Brooke sighed and looked at her siblings "Well its better than nothing." Peter said "We will dig it up in 3 days, we still need to call the other relatives to join us in the proper burial." Gia said Lissa slammed the wooden hammer on the table saying "Meeting adjourned, there is food in the Banquet Area." The Dashkov Family and the council left while Lissa, Christian, Alexander, Mia, Tasha, Abe, Dimitri and I remained in our seats.

"That was a hell of a meeting." Eddie said through the screen since we are in video call with Eddie, Mason, Jill, Adrian and Sydney. "Most horrible meeting I've ever been to." Abe said rubbing his forehead "I'm hungry." I said pouting "Food will be served to us here. I don't wanna them in the Banquet area." Lissa said snapping her fingers and a bunch of helpers came in holding trays with food.

"Finally." I muttered "Crispy Chicken Burger, Chicken Teriyaki, Salad, Chocolate Pie." Lissa said I placed some food on my plate and Lissa ended the call with Eddie and the others since they also have some stuff to do. "So what are we going to do about the snakes?" Mia asked "Drop them back to snake island." Alexander said "Or we could just leave them in the pit?" Christian suggested "I don't want any trace of Viktor Dashkov here." Lissa said

"Oh right those snakes bit him. Good thing you weren't able to capture snakes that would have swallowed him alive." Christian said chuckling "Hmm it would be nice to see a member of the Dashkov Family cut open a snake just to get his rotting corpse." Alexander said "Love easy." Dimitri said since I was eating my food way too fast. I pouted at him and he shook his head laughing. "I want more of that." Dimitri gave me another Chicken Teriyaki and Rice and I smiled at him. "Thank you comrade." I said eating my food.

"You wanna know what would be fun?" Mia asked Alexander raised an eyebrow at her and Mia smiled "If we could get out of this country and go to Japan already." Lissa shook her head and said "You guys can't leave until Viktor Dashkov is moved to the forest cemetery." Mia sighed and Alexander chuckled "It was written in the contract all of us signed before the meeting started." Mia frowned and we laughed "You didn't read it?" Abe asked "I didn't read the back part." Mia said laughing.

I let them talk and once I was finish with my Chicken Teriyaki, I ate my Crispy Chicken Burger ignoring Dimitri's weird look. It took me about 5 minutes to finish my burger and I drank some water before slicing some Chocolate Pie. "She's like a food eating machine." Christian said and I giggled "Banquet Area is noisy, the Dashkov Family's is picking a fight with the council, don't worry I already yelled at them." Ivan said closing the door.

"You should have seen their faces, they were terrified!" Kirova said "Ivan went rampage on them he yelled how stupid and pathetic they are for picking a fight with the council who wasn't even listening to a word they say." Viktoria said laughing. "They were like 7 years old picking fights with adults." Ivan said shaking his head "Eat, food is good." I said "Obviously." Dimitri said laughing at me "Mango shake anyone?" Margaret asked "Oohh I want." I said smiling.

"See she's like a food eating machine!" Christian said and every one laughed I leaned back on my seat took a sip of the shake and it tastes good. I then slapped Dimitri's hand since he was trying to take a piece of my chocolate pie. "Get your own." I said and he rolled his eyes slicing some pie for him self. "I won't be surprise if your baby will be chubby." Ivan said laughing "Chubby Little Caroline." Lissa said "Little? Caroline will already big once she comes out of the Food Eating Machine's tummy." Christian said and every one laughed "Heyy!! Meany." I said pouting at them while rubbing my tummy.

"Big Baby." Dimitri said smiling at me while he rubs my tummy. I smirked at him and said "Be careful Comrade, you still need to deal with pregnant me for 7 more months." he smiled and said "I don't mind." everyone smiled at us and Mia pouted "When are you going to give me that?" Mia asked and Alexander choked on his water "Who knew it was possible to choke on water." Ivan said laughing "Damn girl, do you want one right now? We can go to my room and make one already." Alexander said smirking "Hmm Japan trip first." Mia said smiling.
