It's the next morning and Shuichi is first to wake up. He shifts before stopping, realizing someone else is there. He had then remembered the events of the previous day and blushed, the sunlight was creeping in. It lit up the room as Shuichi carefully sat up, trying his best not to disturb Kokichi as he slowly left the bed.

He wanted to stay in the bed with him. It was calming and quiet. Like this aura protected them and their thoughts from the daily world. Gentle clouds hold them while they are the only two people who matter. The only focus of the moment. Him and Kokichi are the only people who are in the moment.

He shook his head and got up making sure he didn't wake Kokichi up. He looks so cute and peaceful when he sleeps. He closed his eyes for a moment knowing he shouldn't be thinking about Kokichi like that.

Once he successfully got out of bed without waking Kokichi, he left the room to make some breakfast for the two. Unsure of what kokichi would want, he just decided to make some eggs with waffles.

After about an hour or so, he finished making breakfast and set everything out on the dining table. He then cleans himself up a bit before heading back to his room to wake Kokichi, though when he gets there. He notices how he's already awake and is just sitting there.

Stepping into the room, kokichi notices him and looks over. He smiled brightly "There you are!! I was wondering where you left off too!!" He said happily and stood up, rushing over to Shuichi.

"Well I was making breakfast for you," He said looking to the side not wanting to blush again. He still was embarrassed about them sleeping in the same room last night...even though he enjoyed it. He liked having someone else in the room during the night. Because I'm the night even though it makes him feel calmer...it feels so lonely being by himself all the time in the night.

Maybe this whole thing with Kokichi won't be so bad for them? Maybe this could help Shuichi to open up to others...and maybe it will even get him closer to finding out more about his parents and even his own past.

"That's so sweet of you Shumai~," He teased again, making Shuichi have to cover his face to hide the slight blush coming to his cheeks.

"Of course...we are both going to be living here for a while," Shuichi said with a small smile as he gestured for Kokichi to follow him out of the room. Kokichi soon followed him out of the room into the dining room. He smiled when he saw the food.

"Shu-Chan~! This looks amazing!!" He gasped playfully and put his hand over his eyes as if it was too beautiful for him to look at. Shuichi laughed at the action before taking a seat next to Kokichi.

"What do you usually eat for meals?" Shuichi asked, feeling his curiosity spike a bit. What would he eat? Fish maybe?

"I usually eat seaweed or Sushi made with seaweed." He said playing with his fork. Shuichi could tell that he didn't like having to eat that everyday. He wouldn't like having to eat that everyday either...he needs a variety in his meals so he doesn't get sick.

Even when he was younger he never had a strong stomach and it made it harder for people to feed him. He always had pain in his stomach if he ate too many carbs without eating any vegetables or fruit. It made him sit on the toilet for hours debating whether he needed to puke or not. He hated having to be like that as a kid and it still happened sometimes now...

"I'm assuming you don't like it very much," He said looking over at Kokichi. Kokichi gave him a nod and frowned.

"I have noticed you like sweets a lot, so knowing this, it's kinda obvious you wouldn't like having to eat that over sweeter food." Shuichi states making Kokichi giggle.

"There you go over analyzing things again!" He giggled and laughed his signature laugh. Shuichi blushed out of embarrassment...he does it without knowing sometimes...and he hates when he does that because of how embarrassed he gets.

"Sorry..." He whispered feeling embarrassed again. Kokichi laughed again at how cute he was before he went to eat his food. He got a good helping of waffles with a little bit of the eggs Shuichi made. He put a mountain of whipped cream on the top of his waffles Shuichi was worried it would fall over...

"Shumai~ when you are done eating can we go outside?" Kokichi asked hating having to stay in the house all the time. Shuichi gave him a small smile.

"We can but you need to be careful so you don't hurt your injury more..." He whispered the last part. Kokichi frowned a bit. He hated having to be handicapped because of a wound...he wanted to be able to move around, to jump and play, and be able to swim again...

"Ok~ but only because you are my favorite~," He said with a smirk. Shuichi ignored the teasing and went to clean up his dishes while Kokcihi was finishing his food.

He washed his dishes and put them into the dishwasher. Kokcihi finished and brought his dishes over moments later for Shuichi to wash. He smiled at him and quickly washed his dishes as well.

"Thank you Kokichi, could you help me put away the food?" He asked. Kokichi nodded and moved over to put the rest of the waffles into a bag. While he put the eggs into another bag before putting them away.

"Done!" He exclaimed, jumping up and down like a child. Shuichi flinched and grabbed his shoulders slightly gesturing for him to stop jumping.

"Can we go outside now?" He asked with pleading eyes. Shuichi smiles down at him.

"Yes, of course,"
