Chapter 4- Rabbit Town

{Aliyah's POV}

I got Michi a candy apple while I got a huge cone of cotton candy. And I mean huge! We were walking strategizing on how try to get her wallet back when we ran into the wolf. Michi ran upped to him and I followed. He looked at us to acknowledged and continued walking. We walked passed the crime scene, the police force was there.

Michi then said, "We are humans. You have to believe us! At least tell us your name!"

The wolf grunted and changed back. I must admit he was handsome. He looked at us and asked "Are you too not going to change back?"

Michi and I looked at each other and tilted our heads.

And then we both closed our eyes trying to change back. That was a bust, we were still Beastmen.

The wolf beastman sighed. Then he said, "My name is Shirou Ōgami, I will protect every Beastmen. And you two are?"

I piped up and said, "I'm Aliyah Umani and this here beside me is Michiru Kagemori, but I usually call her Michi." My ears started to perk up, so did my tail. I enjoy making new friends. Michi giggled at me, she knows me to well.

Shirou continued "Since you two 'claim' to be humans, I must investigate. I'll take you to get tests. Follow me." He began walking ahead of us.

{Shirou's POV}
I keep running in to those two. Why are they always there? Were they actually human, they don't smell like human. It's impossible to get the stench off. That red panda, her name was Aliyah I believed? She was excited to meet me, what was her motive? Huh we're here

{Aliyah's POV}
He stopped we must've made it. He looked like he was deep in thought. Hope he is fine. We walked in to see a chicken beastman. A stick was placed in our mouths and the tip turned blue.

"Yep, your Beastmen, alright!" The chicken beastman said

"That's impossible! I truly am human. W-what if there is a disease that turn humans into Beastmen?!" Michi exclaimed.

"That was quite rude." A feminine voice said. (To who I'm not sure) "I'm Melissa and this is my husband, Gem. We're apart of Beastmen Life Association, a social group to help beastman newcomers." Melissa stated

My tail began to perk up again. Two new friends! Or at least acquaintances.

{Shirou's POV}
Her tail is doing it again. It's actually quite- cute?

{Aliyah's POV}
We were given a registration form, Michi and me. This actually annoyed Michi. What's wrong with being Beastmen? And living in Anima City? That's when Michi reached for her ID and wallet. She forgot she lost her ID didn't she?

"Well, dear it's rare in Anima city to retrieve a stolen item." Melissa said

At that Michi deflated, her mood was gloomy.

"Hey, Michi don't worry, we'll get it back. You and me!" I said

She began to giggle. Mission accomplished! I smiled. I grabbed her hand and filled out the paperwork.

"Here you go! Do you mind showing us our room." I asked politely. I noticed Shirou was gone and Melissa walked us to our room. Probably had work or something.

"Here you go!" Melissa said

"Thank you again." I said bowing

Michi and I sat in the couch.
