Chapter 9- Party

{Aliyah's POV}

Thanks to Nina we made it to the mainland. Everything seems so, surreal. Looking around int the sky, I lagged behind Nina and Michi just taking everything in. Soon enough we were welcomed into the party.

"Here we are guys!" Nina told us

"Wooaaaah!" Michi responses

I let them wander off, making sure that new 'the rules'. I made up these rules just in case. Number one is never accept a drink from a stranger. Number two never go off alone, tell someone. Number 3 and the most important, call me whenever you are in trouble.

The party actually celebrated beastman! Maybe, they're just like me. They accept beastman. I wondered around for a little more, introduced myself stuff like that. I witness a small disagreement between Nina and Michi but decided it's best to let them work it out. I won't always be here

"What have you done!" I heard Michi yell

I made my way to the commotion. There I see Nina trapped in a tank.  It seemed like she couldn't breathe, I gasped. It must be saltwater!

I turned my head and yelled. "What have you idiots done! You're hurting her."

I faced the glass and put my hand on it, reaching out towards Nina.

"Hold on, Nina! I'll help you, ju-just hang on." I said while holding the glass

I was frantically pounding on the glass, trying to save her. I didn't notice that I changed back to my beastman form. My hand started to illuminate with a red aura. My hand phased through the glass and I reached for Nina. Firmly grasping her I pulled her through the glass.

She was coughing sporadically while I was hugging her torso. Michi proceeded to step in front of us protectively, my red aura also started to surround her. She seemed to be doing somewhat better. Supporting her weight we made our way out of the party.

"I'm fine *cough* I can walk." Nina insisted

Being stubborn and worried I refused to let her go, until we made it back home. We hitched a ride on a boat, the entire trip was quite. Once in Anima city we made our way to Nina's home.

"Thank you again, and I'm sorry Michiru for what I said. Wait!" Nina said

She grabbed our phones and added her contacts into our phones. She also added ours to her. She looked at us with a smile.

"So we can reach each other at anytime." Nina said

She went back home. And we made our way back home. Along the way I caught a glimpse of white hair, and knew, we were getting scolded. Once arriving we were met with an annoyed Shirou. We were sat down, like children and scolded. He walked back and forth. Eventually he got tired and told us, to go on.

Before I left I placed my hand on his shoulder. "She meant well, she really does. I do as well, we really didn't mean any harm."

"Hn"  He said in an unresponsive tone

"Hey, I'm always here to help. Wether it means getting Michi out of trouble or helping you out."

I turned around and waved, giving a small smile. "Goodnight Shirou!"

I was almost out of earshot, when I heard. "Good night to you too."
