Hand in hand with Shirou, we walked into the building. As a child everything seems much larger, and shiny. I began to wander again until Shirou pulled on my hand.
"This is not the time, Aliyah." Shirou said
He proceeded to drag me back to Mich, I sighed a bit. Everything is so shiny! It's not my fault I have the body and attention span of a child. We reached the Mayor's office and were met with scientists.
"I heard of your predicament and got scientists ready. They're going to test your blood, we should have the results and possibly a cure within a month." The Mayor told us in a calm voice.
"..."
"A WHOLE MONTH!" We yelled.
The mayor nodded her head. Shirou led me to the scientists, mumbling things like 'let's get this over with' and 'a whole month'. We were being prepped when I tugged on Shirou's sleeve. My ears were flattened on my head and I was slightly blushing.
"C-can you hold my hand tighter, please. I'm k-kinda scared of needles." I sputtered
"Fine, if it gets this over with quicker." He replied.
When the needle was injected I tightened my hand around Shirou's. He just grumbled and blasted a bit. We were both given a bandage and a lolipop. It made things, only slightly better. I poured as I ate the lolipop.
"Let's go home, I've had enough for today." Michi said
She took Shirou's hand and in return he took my hand and we made our way home.
~~~~~~Time Skip ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{Aliyah's POV} We made it in time for dinner. Usually I made it, since Michi can't cook it now.... let's just say we had take out. Getting ready for bed was worse. Michi complained on how she wasn't tired. Shirou and I just sweat dropped.
"Aren't we the children here?" I whisper to Shirou.
He chuckled and we managed to persuade her. Now the only problem was us. What were we going to wear. I swifter through a bunch of clothes in the bucket Melissa gave us, when I first got here. In the end we found two shirts, that now fit. Mine said 'don't try to bamboozle me.' While Shirou's said 'howl you doin'.
"Never mention this." Shirou said while looking at me.
I just giggled and give him a small salut. I realized it was getting late and started dragging Shirou to my bed, since there wasn't an alternative. I was not letting him sleep on the couch.
"W-what are you doing, Aliyah!" Shirou hissed
"I'm not letting you sleep on the couch, and there's no other bed. Plus your good for warmth." I said. I gave him a cold look, "Now sleep."
I went back to my happy-go-lucky ways. I immediately fell asleep, and my tails swished on it's own.
{3rd Person POV}
Shirou stayed awake a little while longer. He just stared at the peaceful sleeping Aliyah. He pat her head and slowly fell asleep to the sound of her heart beat.
