A Phantom's Rose (Male Infinite reader x Ruby Rose)

Chapter 6

(Readers POV)

Why couldn't I attack that Ruby girl? First I froze up when I was in front of her, then my attacks went through her.

(Y/N): Why does she seem so familiar? Like I have seen her before. Her name sounds so familiar too. Have I met her before?

I shook my head. I shouldn't be bothered by such question. She just got lucky, that's all.

(Y/N): Now that I think about it, why couldn't I scan her to make a clone? I guess I need to master the Phantom Ruby's power.

(Ruby's POV)

Ozpin: You are saying that Infinite is actually (Y/N) that went missing nine years ago?

Ruby: Exactly.

Qrow: You two were friends?

I nodded my head at uncle Qrow. He reached for his pocket and pulled out his flask.

Qrow: I don't think friends try to kill each other.

He to a swig from his flask.

Ruby: He doesn't remember me.

Jaune: Do you want to redeem him?

Ruby: That would be the best case scenario.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over to see Yang behind me.

Yang: I don't think (Y/N) wants to be on the good side.

Ruby: If anyone can convince him, it's me.

Weiss: What makes you think you can do anything to him?

Blake: He did take on all of us at once.

Ruby: I now I can do something. I can feel it in my heart.

I felt a hand get placed on my other shoulder. It was uncle Qrow's.

Qrow: Kid. I don't mean to be rude, but you can't do anything. I can tell that (Y/N) already made up his mind on what he wants to do.

I looked down sad. Qrow and Yang hugged me in support. Is there really nothing I can do? I want him to be on our side. He was the first person I opened up to, outside of my family.

Ozpin: We should be heading back. It's too dangerous here. No doubt some Grimm got attracted to our scuffle and heading this way.

We all nodded and headed to the bullhead we arrived here with.

(Time skip)

I was alone in my dorm room. I was looking at the gem.

Ruby: When it glowed, his attacked did nothing to me.

Now looking at the gem, it looks like the same gem that was in his chest. I think he called it the Phantom Ruby.

Ruby: If this is the same type of gem, then I might be able to use it and change him for the better.

I started to get excited. I was filled with hope. I remembered where I got this gem.

Ruby: It was at that destroyed lab. Is that where (Y/N) was all this time?

Tears started to form in the corner of my eyes. I can only imagine the things that might of happened to him. I wiped my eyes and regained my composure. I heard a the door opening. I quickly hid my Phantom Ruby under my pillow.

Yang: Hey sis.

Ruby: Hey Yang.

Yang: Me and the others are going out to the cafeteria for some food. Want to come?

Ruby: Sure, I'd like that.

(Readers POV)

I was in a continent called Vacuo. I was looking around for one of those huntsmen schools. I did some research and found out that every major continent has one. After a bit of flying, I found it.

(Y/N): Time to give everyone more fear.

I charged a large energy ball in my hand. My body was surrounded by the Phantom Ruby's energy. I launched the ball at the school. I put in enough energy to destroy the building, but not the people inside. There was an explosion. After the smoke cleared, I saw all the students alive. I started to laugh and I floated down to the ground.

(Y/N): Good to see everyone is still alive and kicking.

They all looked at me. I was about to attack them, but I was hit by something that left a blue trail.

(Y/N): Who dares?!

Sonic: I do!

I looked ahead to see a boy with blue hair. He wears manly blue, but had white gloves and red shoes.

(Y/N): Who are you?

Sonic: Names Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog Faunus, the fastest thing alive.

(Y/N): Well Sonic. You will pay for attacking me.

Sonic gave me a smirk. He dashed forward at me. I dodged easily.

Sonic: You are faster then you look.

He tried to kick me, but I kicked him up into the air. I flew up and kicked him into the ground.

(Y/N): I will say, you are quite brave to fight me. But bravery is the poor mans version of stupidity.

I landed next to him and raised my hand at him. I was interrupted by a punch to the face. I was sent away and landed on the floor.

(Y/N): I really need to stop getting punched in the face.

I looked ahead to see a boy with red hair. He has dreadlocks and also wears gloves. His gloves have spikes on him.

Knuckles: Are you ok Sonic?

Sonic got up and gave him a thumbs up.

Sonic: Don't worry Knucks. Just got caught off guard.

Knuckles: You there! You have been destroying stuff and killing innocent people! I will make you pay for that!

(Y/N): I'd like to see you try.

I was about to rush at the two, but I heard something from above. I looked up to see a yellow energy ball coming at me. I grabbed it and smashed it in my hand. I looked up to see a boy with an arm cannon on. He was flying with two tails and has yellow hair.

Tails: Hey guys. I'm here to help.

Sonic: Thanks for the help buddy.

Tails: Guys! I scanned Infinite and he doesn't have an aura!

Knuckles: He doesn't have an aura?!

Sonic: So taking him down will be all the more easier.

(Y/N): No matter how many of you there are, you are all still ants.
