A Phantom's Rose (Male Infinite reader x Ruby Rose)

Chapter 9

(Ruby's POV)

It's been a few days since I met (Y/N) for the first time in years. He was attacking me and my friends but I know he is still there. His Phantom Ruby must be making him do this, I know it. I heard a knock on the door. I walked up to it and opened it.

Jaune: Hey Ruby.

Ruby: Hi Jaune.

Jaune: You might want to see this. Follow me.

We started to run down the hallway.

Ruby: Whats happening?

Jaune: There is like a bunch of Grimm outside.

We made it outside. All the other students were there too. I looked ahead to see a group, no, an army of Grimm walking towards the school.

Ruby: How is there so many of them?

I got out Crescent Rose. Everyone else got their weapons ready and we charged at the Grimm. I slashed at one. It was cut in half. The two half's came back together and the Grimm was back to normal.

Ruby: What?

More Grimm came at me. I tried my best to fend them off. One was about to hit me. I closed my eyes and got ready for the hit. I didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes and saw that the Grimm went through me. The Grimm has some red looking static around it. I saw that my pocket was glowing. I reached in and pulled out the Phantom Ruby.

Ruby: These Grimm aren't real, but an illusion. That's why they can't die.

I raised the gem in the air and all the Grimm around me dissolved into cubes and disappeared.

Ruby: Time to get rid of the Grimm.

I ran into the middle of the army of Grimm. My Phantom Ruby started to glow more and the army disappeared instantly. Everyone looked confused.

Yang: Where did they all go?

Everyone started to celebrate. But our celebration was interrupted by laughter. I looked up to see (Y/N).

(Y/N): I wasn't expecting someone to have a Phantom Ruby.

He looked around and saw me. He dashed right in front of me.

(Y/N): You.

Ruby: Me?

(Y/N): You have it, don't you? I can sense it.

I took a step back. He started to laugh.

(Y/N): So that's why I couldn't attack you when we first met.

Ruby: Don't you remember me, (Y/N)?

He took a step back.

(Y/N): How do you know that name? Answer me.

Ruby: It's me, your friend. Ruby Rose.

He looked down for a bit. He raised his head to look at me. He raised his hand shot a tiny blast at my head.

(Y/N): I don't have friends and I don't need friends.

My eyes started to close. I was losing my conciseness. He raised his hand at Beacon and destroyed it.

Ruby: What?!

I turned to him and tried to punch him.

(Y/N): Don't bother trying. You will be put into a coma. I don't know when you will wake up but I don't care.

I closed my eyes and fell to the floor.

(Readers POV)

I saw Ruby fall unconscious. I wonder how she knew my name. It doesn't matter. I saw all the students running at me.

(Y/N): Now I need to destroy the school in Mistral and I will win.

I flew up. I saw some of them picking up Ruby.

(Y/N): I can see the fear on all your faces. It's the most beautiful thing I've seen all day.

I flew away and made my way to Mistral.

(Time skip)

I made it to Mistral. They didn't pull their punches and sent all the huntsmen they could. I must say, they are willing to go through anything to stop me. I made a tsunami of cubes and flooded the streets of Mistral.

(Y/N): You couldn't even lay a finger on me.

I made my way to the school and destroyed it, turning it to ash. I started to laugh. Some huntsmen still tried to attack me. I activated the Phantom Ruby and killed all the huntsmen that tried to get near me.

(Y/N): Does anyone else want to try to appose me?

All the surviving huntsmen looked at me in terror. They all started to run away from me.

(Y/N): That's what I thought. Now, what to do now?

I thought about what to do now.

(Y/N): I guess I can just destroy anything that comes in my way. Not everyone knows about me. I will travel far and wide and spread fear to every inch on Remnant.

I flew up and made a clone of me. It started to destroy Mistral. Everyone was running and trying to hide. My clone made a big ball of energy  and threw it at the biggest building here. It was destroyed.

(Y/N): I never had so much fun in my life.

I got rid of my clone and started to fly.

(Y/N): It would be funny if there are still people who think they can do something to me.
