A Phantom's Rose (Male Infinite reader x Ruby Rose)

Chapter 11

(Ruby's POV)

Me, Tails, and Sonic got up and left the room.

Sonic: Alright guys. We are going with Ruby's idea.

Knuckles: What?!

Yang walked up behind him and put her hand on his shoulder. He froze up and started to look nervous.

Knuckles: I mean... it's a great idea!

Yang smiled and let go of his shoulder. Knuckles had a sigh of relief. Knuckles walked up to me.

Knuckles: I want to say sorry for yelling at you earlier.

Ruby: It's fine. I understand that you would be stressed. I can only imagine what happened the last six months.

Sonic: And remember Knuckles? Shadow was all evil when we first met him and he is now on our side.

Knuckles: If Shadow can turn over a new leaf, then I don't see why Infinite can't.

We heard beeping. I looked over at the big screen.

Knuckles: A nearby town is being attacked.

Sonic: Me and Ruby can check it out.

I gave Sonic a nod.

Ruby: Wait. I don't have Crescent Rose.

Weiss walked up to me and handed me Crescent Rose.

Weiss: We made sure it would be in good condition. We know how much you care for weapons.

Ruby: Alright then Sonic. Let's save the town.

Sonic: That's the spirit!

We ran out of the base and made our way to the town.

(Time skip)

Sonic: Wow Ruby. I'm surprised you can keep up with me.

We have been running for five minutes.

Ruby: You are pretty fast. But I'm no slouch.

We found the town and Grimm were about to attack the citizens. Me and Sonic rushed over and killed the Grimm.

Sonic: Is everyone ok?

They started to nod and thank us. We dashed off and killed all the Grimm insight. Sonic got out his scroll.

Sonic: Knuckles! Do you know if Infinite is behind this attack?

Knuckles: It's not Infinite, at least from what I can see. People have reported they saw someone in all black with red highlights attacking people.

Sonic: That's sounds like Shadow.

He put his scroll away.

Sonic: Come on Ruby. Let's pick up the pace.

I gave him a nod and we started to run again. We jumped up and started to run up a building. We made it to the top and we looked around.

Ruby: You said that Shadow was attacking?

Sonic: Yeah. He wouldn't do something like this.

Ruby: When me and my friends fought (Y/N), he made clones of us. Maybe he did the same for Shadow.

Sonic: I hope that's the case.

We jumped down the roof of the building. We ramped of some broke parts of a building and we got really high up.

Ruby: Do you see anything?

Sonic: There!

He pointed to the right. I looked over and saw someone that matched the description of Shadow. We landed on the ground and ran towards his direction.

Sonic: This should be fun.

We made it to Shadow.

Sonic: Shadow! Don't tell me that you are attacking these people!

He stayed silent and started to run towards us. He jumped up and tried to kick us. Someone ran past us and kicked Shadow.

Sonic: What? Another Shadow?

The fake Shadow fell to the floor and disappeared.

Shadow: These clones are making me look bad.

Sonic: Hey Shadow. How have you been?

Shadow: I came here looking for Infinite. That Shadow was one of his clones, so he must be close.

Shadow looked over at me.

Shadow: Who are you?

Ruby: I'm Ruby Rose! Nice to meet you Shadow.

I extended my hand out for a hand shake. He just scoffed and turned around.

Shadow: See you guys.

Sonic: Wait!

Sonic grabbed his shoulder, stopping Shadow from running.

Sonic: Do you know where Infinite is?

Shadow: Maybe. Why do you want to know?

Sonic: Ruby has a plan to stop Infinite once and for all.

(Readers POV)

I sent a clone of Shadow to a nearby town. I was in a forest. I was just walking around. There wasn't much to do here. I do get really bored sometimes. I heard some rustling in some bushes. I looked over and a Grimm jumped at me. I was about to kill it, but the Grimm stopped in mid air. A light blue aura surrounded the Grimm and it was launched into a tree, killing it.

(Y/N): Who did that?

I looked around and noticed a white haired boy surrounded by the same light blue aura. He looked like Sonic and Shadow but wears white instead.

Silver: I finally found you! Infinite!

(Y/N): Oh? You wish to fight me?

Silver: I am Silver! I will defeat you!

I surround myself in a red aura. I started to laugh.

(Y/N): I would like to see you try to stop me.

I flew away and he started to follow me. I turned around and threw some cubes at him. A light blue aura surrounded the cubes and were thrown away.

(Y/N): Telekinesis? You will make for a great distraction.

Silver: Don't take me as some sort of play thing. I will defeat you and save Remnant!

He came at me and we started to trade blows.

(Y/N): There is no hope for you and everyone else.

Silver: That's a lie! Does anyone else but you believe your lies?!

He flew at me at higher speeds. He punched me and flew away. He came back at me. I moved away from his punch and kicked him to the ground.

(Y/N): You were a decent enough distraction. It's time to finish you off.

I made an energy ball and fired it at him. A blue streak kicked the ball away.

(Y/N): You again.

Sonic: Sup Infinite. Did you miss me?

He got in front of Silver to protect him.

Silver: Be careful. He's powerful.

Sonic: Don't worry buddy. We got this.

(Y/N): We?

I turned around and saw that Shadow was trying to attack me from behind. I grabbed his arm and threw him at Sonic. Shadow landed on his feet.

(Y/N): Is that all of you?

I looked over to see that Ruby girl running into view.

(Y/N): This will be interesting.
