(Ruby's POV)
Tails ran up to me.
Tails: Here you go.
He handed me my Phantom Ruby. It started to glow when held it.
Tails: That's it! Only the one who activated the Phantom Ruby can use it. You can probably use it to get rid of that sun.
Ruby: Ok! Wish me luck!
I jumped up to a building and started to jump from building to building.
(Sonic's POV)
I saw Ruby running on some buildings. I looked forward at all the clones. Everyone charged forward and started to fight the clones. I dashed through some clones, getting rid of them.
Sonic: These things really are fragile. Silver!
Silver: Got it!
Silver surrounded me in a light blue aura. I got into a ball and he started to swing me around. We got rid of a lot of clones doing this. He let me go.
Sonic: We really need to do that more often.
I looked over to see Shadow taking off his rings. A red aura started to burst of his body. He started to run and any clone that made contact with him was destroyed.
Silver: He really isn't holding back.
Silver started to grab clones with his telekinesis and threw them at Shadow for him to destroy. I ran over to team JNPR to make sure that they are doing fine. Nora looked at me and smiled. I got into a ball and she swung her hammer into me, launching me into a big group of clones.
(Y/N): Only one more minute until the sun falls on you all. All of your efforts are in vain.
I got up and shook my head, getting rid of any dust and ash on my face and hair. I looked around and there were no more clones. I sighed with relief. I ran over to Shadow, who was catching his breath.
Sonic: You good Shadow?
Shadow: I'm fine. I don't need your help.
Everyone was fine and we looked at Infinite.
(Y/N): And you all will fall in 3... 2... 1...
(Ruby's POV)
I made it to the tallest building. I used my semblance to jump up to the sun. My Phantom Ruby started to glow brightly. I held it in front of me and it touched the sun.
Ruby: Please work!
The sun disappeared from the sky. I was excited. I started to fall. I landed on a building and started to stumble. I fell down and my Phantom Ruby hit the floor. It broke from the impact and disintegrated.
Ruby: I did it.
(Readers POV)
I looked up and the sun was gone.
(Y/N): What?!
Everyone started to celebrate. I got mad and flew up.
(Y/N): What happened?! Who did that?!
I looked around and saw Ruby on a building by herself.
(Y/N): Her!
I flew at the building and landed in front of her.
(Y/N): You!
Ruby: I had to. You were going to destroy everything.
(Y/N): Where is your Phantom Ruby?
Ruby: It got destroyed.
(Y/N): Then destroying you will be all the more easier.
I fired a blast at Ruby. Sonic came out of nowhere and kicked it back at me. I dodged it.
(Y/N): You again.
Sonic: Sorry dude, but I'm not going to let you destroy my friends.
After making a sun and a bunch of clones, my energy is running low. It still will be enough to destroy the two of them.
(Y/N): Let's finish this. Once and for all.
I charged up energy and started to throw energy balls at the two. The started to dodge and hit my attacks back at me. I blocked my attacks and dashed forward. I punched Sonic in the face.
Ruby: Take this!
Ruby shot at me. I was sent off the building, but I flew back on.
Ruby: Are you ok?
She started to help Sonic up.
Sonic: I'm fine. He really doesn't pull his punches.
They rushed at me. I put my arms up in a defensive position. Ruby swung her scythe at my face. I leaned back, but it hit my mask off.
(Y/N): You will pay for that!
I started to charge up as much energy as I could. Strong winds started to come and they blew Ruby and Sonic back a bit. My shirt ripped from the energy, showing all my scars.
(Y/N): I won't lose!
A deep red aura surrounded my body.
Sonic: Come on Ruby! Let's get your friend back!
Ruby: Right!
They charged at me. I grabbed them by the arms and slammed them both into the ground. I jumped up and made energy balls in my hands. I slammed them down into Ruby and Sonic.
(Y/N): I will never lose! Not to people like you!
I kicked them up to the air. I flew up and kicked them back down. They started to get back up.
(Y/N): How do you still have the strength to fight?
Sonic: Real strength comes from heart, soul, and the bonds of friendship.
Ruby: And the friend I know is still in you keeps giving me the strength to fight. I will get you back!
(Y/N): You two fight for something pointless.
They started to run at me. Ruby turned into red rose petals. Sonic went in and turned into blue rose petals. They started to spiral. They went faster then I thought. Before I could dodge, they hit me. They started to drag me through the ground. I was sent upwards.
(Y/N): How did they get so strong?
(Ruby's POV)
I stopped using my semblance. Sonic grabbed my arm and launched me at (Y/N). I swung my scythe at his chest. I cut off the Phantom Ruby in his chest. The Phantom Ruby was in the air. I quickly shot it, shattering it into pieces.
Ruby: It's gone!
Sonic: Way to go Ruby!
I saw that (Y/N) went unconscious. I grabbed him and landed on the ground.
Sonic: Is he ok?
Ruby: I hope so.
I looked at (Y/N)'s body. His chest was covered with scars. The area where I cut off the Phantom Ruby was bleeding.
Ruby: We need to get him help and fast!
Sonic: Hand him to me. I can carry him.
I gave him a nod. I hand (Y/N) to Sonic. We jumped off the building and made our way to everyone else.
Ruby: Hang in there (Y/N). You are going to be alright.
