(Readers POV)
I was starring at Shadow. He attacked me for some reason and I don't think that's his way of saying hi.
Ruby: Why are you attacking (Y/N)?!
Shadow: He has been causing trouble again.
I was confused and so was Ruby and Sonic.
Sonic: Dude, you are going to need to explain yourself.
Shadow: I was killing a group of Grimm and when I killed them, the Phantom Ruby's effects came out of them!
Ruby: (Y/N) has been here with me all the time. He couldn't have done that.
I pulled down my shirt, showing my chest. There is an upside down triangle shaped scar where the Phantom Ruby was when it was in my chest.
(Y/N): And I don't have the Phantom Ruby. Ruby broke it, remember?
Sonic: So how could (Y/N) be behind that? Are you sure you weren't seeing things?
Shadow: I'm positive on what I saw. They turned into cubes when I killed them.
I was in thought. Ruby did have a Phantom Ruby of her own. Is there more Phantom Rubies that we don't know about?
Sonic: Well, sounds like we need to investigate.
Ruby: Yeah. If we don't, then things could end badly.
Shadow: You two go on and investigate.
He pointed at me.
Shadow: I'm going to stay here with you and make sure you're not up to any funny business.
(Y/N): Alright. Still stubborn huh?
Sonic: Cmon on Ruby. Let's get this party started!
(Ruby's POV)
I gave Sonic a nod. I walked up to (Y/N) and kissed his cheek.
Ruby: I'll be back soon.
(Y/N): Just don't take too long.
Sonic: Don't worry. We'll be done before you can even finish a sentence.
Me and Sonic started to run in a direction. We ran out of the village and into the forest.
(Time skip)
After some running, me and Sonic stopped into a clearing in the forest.
Ruby: Did you see anything suspicious?
Sonic: Nope. You?
Ruby: No.
I thought about what to do.
Ruby: Are you sure Shadow isn't crazy?
Sonic: He has said crazier things and they turned out to be true.
I heard some bushes rustling. I pointed Crescent Rose at the bushes, ready for a Grimm. A little bunny jumped out.
Ruby: Oh. Just a bunny.
Sonic: I don't think we are going to be finding anything here.
The bunny looked behind itself and started to run away. I looked over and saw a fast moving object come out of the bushes. It landed on the ground in front of me and Sonic. It's a person wearing a hood.
Sonic: Oh man. Are you ok dude? What happened?
Sonic tried to help the person up. The person kicked away Sonic. I tried to slash at them, but they caught Crescent Rose.
