Feel free to skip this if you so desire, but I have it here at the very beginning so that no misunderstandings accrue.
I'm working on a story between two non blood related family members but, IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM is anything inappropriate going to happen between them. I've seen it happen, I made the mistake of reading the Bunny Drop manga when I should have left it at the end of the anime when everything was wholesome, but do not fret about anything untoward occurring between the two main characters. This story is meant to be about the birth of a new family and simply learning how to be a family.
On another note, this story will also have elements of a lot of geeky and nerdy references as well as scenes about high school and marching band based off of what I've experienced. If anything that I've listed above does not appeal to you, just don't read it.
I hope you'll give it a try. I know Slice of Life isn't for everyone but it's nice to take a break from other heavy genres every so often.
Thanks for your time and I hope you enjoy!
