This can't be happening. Why am I still in this damn hotel, and not at Ashley's.

There's no why this is happening. How could it be? After waking up with no other answers, I've decided to make every decision as if my life counted on it.

All morning, I've been sitting in this room, stressing over what to do. Worrying to the point of making myself sick.

I seen Light, meaning this is meant to be the show I was watching with Ashley before I feel asleep? If that's the case, I could see why I would dream about it. What I don't under is why I haven't woken up. I've never had a problem with waking up from a dream before.

Whether this is, or is not, I believe the person that could help me would be L. He's the smartest guy from the show, right? Real or not, what choice do I have? What else can I do?

I wonder if this means Light could kill me?

I definitely don't like the thought of that, so I choose to ignore it.

I'm almost positive that I'm already staying at the hotel L made his appearance at, but I can't be sure.

Still, being how secretive he is, I doubt I'll have an easy time getting to speak with him, let alone finding him.

If I knew what room he was staying in, I could just go to it when I thought he was there. But I don't remember seeing the room number in the show. And I doubt I could just go to every room looking. Eventually, I'd get kicked out.

"Ugh... definitely won't be easy..."

I force myself out of bed, get dressed and leave my room. I figure I better find a temporary job before I get too low on money.

I'll have to change rooms for sure.

If I want to do hair in Japan, legally that is, I'll have to get a license. And in order to get a license in Japan, I have to take the national exam. Which is a pain.

Either way, it has to be done. I'll need money for my room, food, some clothes, and whatever else I might need. Speaking of food, I haven't eaten since my arrival.

As far as clothes, for a woman my size... Hopefully finding something to wear won't be to difficult.

So that's the plan for today. Find a way to take the national exam, find some cheap enough clothes to fit me, and to get something to eat.

The elevator door opens on the ground floor, and I make my way down the long hall, heading toward the front doors of the hotel. I round the corner and the sight makes me gasp.

Just the man I need to see, he's actually right here.

My eyes widen. Initially I'm shocked and suspicious since I know how secretive he is. I have to on purpose keep my face straight. And believe me, it is not easy.

Has he held that broadcast yet? No probably not.

I panic as he gets closer. Quickly I decide that I probably shouldn't tell him that I'm from... well... not here.

A different universe I guess? Yes, don't tell him that I'm from a different universe.

And second, I probably shouldn't address him by his name yet, seeing as no one is suppose to know who he is. After all, my life could be at risk.

But I need to get home... and he is the smartest person here, according to Ashley, so he should be able to help me, right?

I hold my breath as he passes, and mentally curse myself for being such a coward. But how weird is it to just walk up to a complete strange and start talking to them? So I let him pass, then call him from behind.
