Chapter 12 - Crime Sorcière

"Jellal? I umm didn' think we'd find you here" Y/n said shocked at the three of them

"Wait, you guys created Crime Sorcière?" Wendy asked

"We created it after we got Jellal out of jail before his execution. We felt like he could do something about his past mistakes" Ultear explained

"Well umm good for you Jellal" Y/n said but he shook his head

"It's a chance to redeem myself from my past mistakes...nothing more." Jellal said looking at the ground, ashamed of his past actions

"Even still...you guys formed a guild which fights dark guilds...that's pretty noble, considering the fact that you were our enemies not too long ago." Y/n said and Wendy nodded

"Well it's all in the past...We are no longer enemies but I don't know if we can be allies after all we've done to your friends" Ultear frowned and shook her head in shame

"It's just as you said...it's in the past. We do not hate you or anything like that" Y/n responded, giving them a small smile

"Oh...by the way Wendy, I am not the man you were referring to back then, it wasn't me who helped you" Jellal said turning to Wendy

"O-Oh it's umm alright...we already figured it out. It was Mystogan from Edolas." She remembered Mystogan and Edolas. Not being able to thank him for getting her out of the forest when she was alone as a child.

"Anyway... Crime Sorcière? What do you guys do or stand for?" Y/n asked changing the topic

"Our guild is not a legal one. But our mission is to destroy Zeref and evil such as Dark Guilds. Which is why we were here" Jellal spoke in return

"Why isn't your guild a legal one?" Wendy asked

"Yeah couldn't you guys talk to the Magic Council or something? I'm sure they'd understand, you guys are doing this for a good cause" Y/n added

"We can't really do that...we have two former dark guild members and a fugitive which was broken out of prison" Y/n and Wendy nodded, agreeing with his statement, "I'm surprised to find you guys here. So far from Magnolia"

"Well we were on a job to hunt a dark guild, to get some money for the guild" Y/n responded

"I see...that dark guild was one which was on our list for attacking nearby towns and stealing their possessions. We're sorry we took your goal. Though we will compensate the reward for the quest" Jellal said and Ultear started to hold her orb mid air

"No no no no...you don't have to pay as much, it's nothing really" Wendy denied but they insisted

"Well speaking of the guild, how is it doing?" Meredy asked joining the conversation but the cheery attitude of before was suddenly gone. Ultear and Jellal looked at each other, they already knew the state of the guild currently

They watched Fairy Tail's situation and checked in from time to time. However, they couldn't get involved with Fairy Tail as the magic council was on their trail and they couldn't allow Fairy Tail to get involved in problems which were not theirs.

"Well...the guild had to move into a smaller building because we no longer had the money or the strength to keep the guild going" Y/n explained, trying not to think about those bad times too much. Wendy noticed this and held her hand

"I heard you two survived the attack on the island by Ultear and Meredy." Jellal said and Ultear nudged him roughly and gave him a dark look for bringing up the topic

"I'm sorry for bringing up such a troublesome topic" Jellal said, feeling bad for making them remember the tough time they went though

"It's alright, it's just that so much happened so fast. A dragon appeared...then everything else" Y/n's voice trailed off
