Chapter 15 - Two New Dragon Slayers

Hi so just to explain, Y/n's powers are time related, she can control time. But since they want to keep it a secret since it's rare. So most people believe she can move quickly, so they called her a Speed Mage kind of like what Jet uses. But in reality she's slowing down time which makes her seem faster to everyone else.

Wendy is more well known because of this since she's a dragon slayer but the two of them are pretty famous because they are strong.

Many at the guild were doing small jobs that were keeping them busy. Guild members who didn't have anything to do, sat around a Lacrima Ball and watched the Grand Magic Games that were going on this year.

The Grand Magic Games had just started in the past year or two, where guilds from all across Fiore would gather to the capital, Crocus, and attend the competition. It was being held by the royal family to compete for the title of number one guild.

Fairy Tail couldn't compete in these competitions because of their financial struggles and lack of people who would be strong enough to compete.

Because they couldn't compete they were ranked lower than every single guild who just went to the GMG, making them one of the lowest rank guilds in all of Fiore. The only thing keeping them from being at the very bottom was Y/n and Wendy, who had become well known around Fiore, though it didn't stop many from talking bad about the guild anyway.

Those two were the heart and soul of the guild.

Macao walked over to the small group of people who were gathering around the lacrima ball. "Hey guys, what's up?"

"Morning Master, we were just about finished setting up the lacrima ball to watch the games" Kinana explained while pulling up a chair besides her for the master to sit in

"It's a shame we can't participate, I'm sure even just participating would bring our guild up miles...especially with Wendy and Y/n..." Wakaba softly spoke

"They're still kids, they've already taken a lot of responsibilities on their shoulders for someone who is only 15 or 16. We can't...we already rely on them too much as is." Macao responded quickly. With the master having his own son, he felt bad for having them take on a world of responsibilities which should be left to adults, he felt like a terrible master. But none of it was really his fault

"Well even with them it would be hard to get a team together, most of us are always busy anyway" Max reasoned

The door was opened gently grabbing everyone's attention seeing too familiar girls come inside

"Good morning everyone" the two of them said and both bowing in respect

"Good morning, Y/n, Wendy...we just set up the lacrima ball to watch the Grand Magic Games," Laki informed the two.

Y/n looked around the guild, it was the first time in awhile everyone had gathered up and didn't have too much to do, it made her happy that everyone around her was happy.

The Grand Magic Games went on, with Wendy sitting with the other girls and Y/n not really paying attention

The two "top" guilds were fighting each other, Lamia Scale and Sabertooth, with Leon and Yuka fighting Sting and Rouge. Though Leon put up a good fight, Sting and Rogue won the fight in the end

Y/n didn't really pay attention to the games too much, she knew that in the back of her mind that Natsu alone could take on whoever it was in that stupid "strongest guild", Y/n looked at the screen where they were about to interview the two.
