BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Is the first thing I here after being awake for an hour or two before my alarm decided to tell me it's time to get up. My senior year in high school starts today and I'm already dreading it, but I know it won't be so bad with the few friends I have and my cousin there...speaking of cousin I should go wake her up. I get up and stretch and then walk out in my pjs still and knock on her door. "Angel?" I call out as I open her door and at that very moment an evil smile graced my lips as I saw her still sleeping peacefully. I quietly walk to the edge of her bed and counted to three before I jumped on top of her. "AAAAAAAAAAAH!!" Is what I heard after being pushed off the bed. "What the fuck!?" Angel screamed holding her pillow tightly. I only laughed "it's time for school." She groaned at first and laid back down but then she jumped out off bed and ran towards her closet. "Yes! We're seniors now Sam!! I wonder how this year is going to be with all the new people and our friends!! Eek I'm so excited!" I just roll my eyes at her. I don't mind school but I don't get that excited about it like she does... Such a weirdo. Its just school nothing ever happens except the normal thing as always. My cousin and I aren't exactly popular, sure we have friends and we know certain people but that's it. The only thing I'm actually looking forward to is my art and music classes I asked for. "Sam! Go get ready!" I shake my head and see she's ready I get up and nod "make me pop tarts!" I yelled as I left her room. Thank god I took a shower last night before I went to sleep. I quickly grabbed some clothes from my closet and changed into them. I brushed my hair, put on my shoes etc...and went to meet Angel in the kitchen eating a pop tart. "Where's mine?" I asked and she pointed to the toaster. I skipped happily to it waiting for my breakfast. We still had a good forty-five minutes till we had to leave and since I'm able to drive we didn't have to worry about being late. As soon as my food was done I sat across from Angel on the counter and started munching on my pop tart. "So do you think there will be cute guys at school this year?" she asked I merely shrug. "How do you expect to get a boyfriend this year?!" I sigh "I don't plan on it...I don't want to get hurt again." Angel gave me a sympathetic look "That was in freshman year Sam...you need to let that go." I kept nibbling on my pop tart and averted my eyes away from hers. "I know...I just have trust issues...I'll get over them eventually" I gave her a closed eye smile "why must you be so cute!" I growled "I am not...now come on we should get to school early to get our schedules and meet with the gang" she simply nodded and we both went out the door and drove off to school.

We got to school and thank god there was still parking left close to the entrance. Angel and I were too busy talking about random things that we didn't notice the huge crowd until after we got out of the car. "What the hell?" I hear Angel say. I honestly could care less what everyone is hyped up about so I pull Angel away from the crowd before she tries to see. We both get to the office and get our schedules. I look at hers and mine and we have every class together except History. I laugh when I hear her groan in disappointment "why must they torment me!? Why Sam?! Why?!" I shrug "you must now suffer Mrs. Boucher class...again" she gave a dirty look as a sign to shut my mouth in which I smirked. "Sam! Angel! There you two are" I turn around and see a few of our friends "Sheila!! Hey Ryan and Skye! What up" I smile at them as they got to us. "Hey Sam, Angel nice to see you guys again!" Ryan says happily Skye laughed at his brother "dude we saw them during break" I giggled at them "anyways what classes did you guys get?" they pulled out their schedules and we all looked "ha! I'm not alone! Sheila we're History buddies!!" Angel said happily "awesome!" Sheila says with her thumbs up. I have Ryan in my Music class and Skye was in my Language Arts class and we all have the dreaded P.E. together. To be honest none of us complained we were happy we at least had one or two classes with each other. "So do you guys know what the fuss is about?" Angel asks as we sit outside at our usual spot. "Hm? Oh yeah there's like these eleven new kids besides the freshman that are coming here now" Sheila says "Yep and I just became friends with two of them" says a voice to our left. We all look and see Carlos next to a guy with white hair and another with reddish-brown hair. "Hey Carlos, long time no see and nice to meet you two as well" I say and smile and they all smile back. Carlos laughs "yeah I know. I went M.I.A on you guys my bad anyways this is Subaru he points to the one with white hair and this is Laito he points to the other one." We all greet them and find out that their actually brothers but different have mothers. We all chat and get to know them and they tell us that they have four other brothers that they'll introduce to us at lunch. "At least we know we can get a break with you guys" Laito sighs as he sits on the bench. "I'm guessing the rest of the student body is trying to get your attention?" Skye says as he drinks his monster he had. "Yeah. They started crowding us as soon as we entered the damn gate but thanks to Carlos we escaped leaving our brothers and friends behind." Subaru smirks when he finishes I simply giggle "well if you ever need to escape call one of us." Sheila grinned "true we know where all the good hiding spots around here for reasons that shall remain unknown" Laito and Subaru agreed and gave us all their numbers and vice versa. "Well, you three girls are now my special dolls~" Laito cooed and 'us three girls' just looked at him oddly and then laughed and agreed in which he smiled to and laughed. I noticed a group of girls coming closer and I signaled everyone but soon the bell rang and we all split up to get to our classes which were in walking distance of new friends' classes so we walked them there and then left to ours.

AN: Hiya there! Hope you readers enjoyed the beginning of this story. May have started slow but i will get to the good parts soon enough...maybe .3. Anywhoozles remember this is an A.U. so those who know about how the guys really are e.e hold those rude little comments that form in your brain and yes they are human not the sadistic or masochistic vampires we all love for some odd reason....with that said see you all next time.
