Sebastian and I had been in a secret relationship for a while, until one day we were caught out.

It was Sebastian's fault, part of me considered the fact that he had likely had enough of the constant secrecy, and all the attempts to cover up our relationship. He certainly acted as though a massive weight had been lifted off his shoulders when he arrived back at our house that afternoon.

We would both constantly avoid being seen out together, it made dinner dates and doing normal couple things hard, but we managed as best we could. When asked in interviews anything about relationships, he was normally so good at deflecting. That changed. It just slipped out of his mouth one day. Sebastian Stan was in a relationship, it was emblazoned across the front of every magazine.

We travelled the world together for work and pleasure, and with each passing, day, month and year things got harder. We were spotted holidaying in Mauritius, in August of last year. It was around Sebastian's birthday so the tabloids assumed it was a birthday get away; my relationship to Sebastian had been outed, finally. The world knew who had Sebastian Stan's heart.

They didn't know our secret, we were in fact on our honeymoon. Sebastian had asked me, very romantically I may add, it was just the two of us, we had travelled to Hawaii for my birthday, to marry him. Of course I said yes! Our wedding had been perfect, just us two and our closest family and friends, in a small outdoor ceremony on the beach. The perfect day.

How we managed to keep our union underwraps for so long was a mystery to me, Sebastian didn't let slip the word 'wife' once, and it truly amazed me, he constantly used the word at home.

"I love you, my wife." - "sotia mea." (When he was half asleep, my body cradled in his arms) - "My wife would like-" Basically every other sentence ended and began with 'my wife'.

We both wore wedding bands, just not in the traditional way, I wore my platinum engagement ring, a beautiful round diamond atop a delicate band, and my plain to the eye wedding ring (engraved with our initials and wedding and date on the reverse side) on a long chain that hung round my neck, I never took it off. Sebastian's platinum ring (also engraved) hung from a chain around his neck. He wore it with pride, often fiddling with the chain, itching to wear the band on his finger.

He had told me when we talked about it one evening his reservations on marriage, I too had the same reservations having not been brought up with great marital influences, so was pleasantly surprised when he got down on one knee on that private beach many months ago.

Sebastian had been photographed numerous times now with the famous chain round his neck, the internet speculated what special meaning it held, they also spotted me with an identical chain. They came to the conclusion we had given them to each other as gifts, as a promise. I mean, they were half right, we had promised one another our vows.

Once our relationship had been outed it had been hard for a time coming to terms with being fully in the public eye. A lot of fans, Sebastian's and my own and the paparazzi all had their own opinions on our relationship, and we worked hard for a time to not let it affect what we had. We succeeded and the hype soon dyed down, it took time but people had finally come to terms with our happiness. I learnt we had become stronger together. If I did not have Seb by my side I don't think I would have been able to handle all the backlash and comments. We were one.

We finally took the bull by the horns once we returned from our secret honeymoon. We would officially attend an event together, a red carpet event full of paparazzi and fans. Sebastian's hand never left mine the entire evening, his eyes sparkled when he looked into mine. He was happy, and could be free. We could be, somewhat, free. We didn't have to hide anymore. We were still private people, but we no longer had to sneak around.

We walked the red carpet together, posing for many photos. Sebastian tore himself away from me for a short moment when it came to my own singular time in the spotlight. The cameras flashed away as I swayed on the spot, my chain tucked just below the neckline of my annoyingly low cut, but perfectly fitted dress. I placed my left hand firmly over the spot where my rings sat as they threatened to escape.

Finally I made my way back to Sebastian. His first reaction was to kiss me on the cheek, he still made me blush with such actions, and I smiled shyly back up to him as he towered over me. His fingers found the chain round my neck. He toyed with it, a playful smirk plastered on his face as I lightly slapped his hand away. He chuckled. We had managed our first official public appearance together.

Sebastian had been roped into doing an instagram Live with one of his close friends, Will, for a short segment. The pair had been messing around and everything finally came to a head that day, Sebastians chain flopped out from the top of his blue J Crew t-shirt, man I loved that tee. He didn't even try to hide it, he left it, his ring, to dangle out from the fabric. The ring glinted in the light of Will's living room as it swung like a pendulum. I gasped as I sat behind the camera, he just smiled back at me, a cheesy grin plastered across his face as he and Will signed off.

I toyed with his wedding band as he came over to stand in front of me, he leant down to inspect the images I had been assigned to capture alongside the video.

"Secrets out." I whispered into his lips.

He pulled away, nibbling on his bottom lip. Slowly he unclasped the chain from my neck, allowing my rings to slide off and into his palm.

"I know." He whispered, looking directly into my eyes. Will smiled at the scene between his best friend and myself, taking a sneaky picture as Seb slid my wedding and engagement ring onto the fourth finger of my left hand.
