Even though Serena told the girls to go to bed and Olivia left to sleep on the couch, Alex and Casey continued to fight. This time they kept their voices down so they wouldn't get in trouble, but if Serena found out they more than likely would still get grounded before school the next morning.
"You are so selfish and inconsiderate," Alex whispered, as she laid on her side and faced where Olivia's empty bed was.
"I am not!" Casey squeaked.
"You are going to end up getting used and crawling back to me. You are dumb and naïve if you think that Fisher likes you for your personality and not with the fact that he probably is trying to take as many girls' virginities as possible before he leaves school!" Alex whispered as loudly as she could without hopefully getting caught.
"We are just-"
"You two are not just friends. Don't be dumb!" Alex yelled.
"Girls!" Serena yelled from somewhere in the upstairs of the house. Alex quickly apologized before closing her eyes tightly as she heard Casey climb out of her bed.
"We are no longer friends, Alexandra Cabot." Casey huffed.
"Sounds good to me."

The next morning, Serena found her daughter on the downstairs sofa. She was curled up with a few blankets from her bed. Then on the loveseat, Serena found Casey.
"Liv." Serena whispered, as she caressed her daughter's tangled brown locks.
"What?" Olivia yawned loudly.
"Why are you and Casey sleeping down here?"
"Casey is in our room." Olivia mumbled, as she finally opened her eyes.
"No, she's right there. I know that Alex and Casey were fighting last night... but about what?"
"Can you make me breakfast while we talk?" Olivia whispered, and Serena smiled softly before nodding slowly. She helped her daughter off the sofa before taking her into the kitchen.
Olivia settled down onto a barstool while Serena started on coffee and pouring her kid a cup of orange juice.
"Speak." Serena ordered.
"Casey ditched us at lunch yesterday to sit with the football team. There is this guy, Fisher Graham, that really likes Casey and now it seems like she likes him too. Alex is jealous and just starting shit to start it. I'm staying out of it because yesterday they said that they don't want to be more than best friends. So-"
"Liv, more than best friends?" Serena asked quietly.
"I was thinking about possibly them getting adopted. Not me hooking up with them. God." Olivia mumbled. She knows that she hasn't dated anyone before, but she didn't like girls and she assumed that her mother knew that by now.
"Okay. Uh, well I haven't really even thought about adopting them. I don't think it will happen so don't worry about it. Liv, everything will get back to normal between them soon. They will probably be-"
"Oh look, the naive virgin who thinks a senior just wants to be friends with her." Alex taunted loudly from the living room.
"They will never be the same as before." Olivia frowned.

Alex and Casey were in a full on war by the time the weekend came. Serena was at her wits end and was getting extremely close to calling CPS and seeing if there was anything they could do. She was wondering if a scared straight type of situation, not as scary but intense, would bring the girls back together.
