Lunch was prepared and served to nearly one hundred kids. Max and Olivia cleaned up the mess they made before going outside to actually get some air.

"Wow, this feels amazing." Max spoke as he and Olivia walked out of the backdoor and towards the lake. Olivia nodded as she had to resist taking her t-shirt off so she was just in her shorts and swimsuit.

"It does. I'm just thankful that we won't have to do that again till closer to the end of the summer." Olivia replied.

"So, uh... is this your first summer working here?" Max asked, as he sat down in the sand. Olivia continued walking towards the dock, and Max scrambled up to follow her.

"It is. My Dad helped me apply for this position, since they offered it to many of the high school students." Olivia spoke as she sat down on the dock and let her feet dangle in the water.

"Is your Dad a teacher?" Max asked, and Olivia nodded.

"He was an English teacher until he was promoted to principal." Olivia replied.

"Oh, that has gotta be cool. You probably never get in trouble." Max laughed, and Olivia sighed as she gave in and took her t-shirt off before looking over at Max.

"Is this your first summer?" Olivia mused, since she didn't feel like talking about school or her father at the moment.

"Nope. I've been doing this since I was a freshman in high school. But I'm usually the leader on hikes. I was a boy scout."

"You really don't look like a boy scout..." Olivia breathed.

"What does a boy scout look like?" Max asked, and Olivia smiled as she looked into the water.

"I don't know... more clean cut. A little nerdy... honestly, I really haven't met one before." Olivia sighed.

"You know, maybe we should partner up more. I'm leading the day trip tomorrow. Would you like to join me and the kids on our fishing trip?" Max asked, and Olivia was thankful that her face was red so that Max didn't know that he had made her blush.

"Will you still want me to go if I tell you that I've never gone fishing before?"

"I can teach you then."

Olivia went home that night after making sure all the kids had gotten picked up or had taken the bus to their houses. Olivia went straight to the bathroom and showered before joining her family for dinner.

"How was work?" Serena asked, once her daughter filled her plate and sat down beside Casey.

"It was good. We are preparing for all of the kids coming in to camp on the fourth of July. They are excited and I am too." Olivia smiled.

"Does that mean you are spending the night in a tent?" Casey asked, and Olivia nodded.

"I am. But it's only one night... I'm not too worried." Olivia spoke, before starting to dig in.

The coversations stayed steady until everyone slowly started to finish their meals. Serena excused herself first and headed to bed, while the girls were the last. Once Henry went out to change the oil in his daughters' vehicles, Olivia turned to her sisters to tell them about Max.

"Okay, so I met someone today... he's super cute and he invited me on the outing tomorrow." Olivia spoke quickly, as she shifted in her chair so she could look between her sisters easier.

"What? I thought that you weren't planning on being interested in any boy until after high school?" Alex mused.

"I wasn't. And this will probably not be anything at all. But Max is really cool. Like, we sat and talked for an hour while the kids were working on crafts."
