Tajide hummed in laughter as their conversation ended.

He felt that she was jealous, after all he had been the one bold enough to service her engine.
Some seconds later Carolyn walked into his room, "Oga how u dey" She asked in a teasing voice..
"i am very okay, why are you not asleep? He asked with all seriousness on his face.

"See the kind question u dey ask" i come play with you, since all the other girls don dey sleep.
"No play today" Tajide sigh in disapproval, "Madam just warned me now, i don't know how she managed to know.
Carolyn giggled continiously, "Nawa for you oo, something we can just do fast fast.
"Not today" Tajide replied. Carolyn immediately stripped naked and turn off the lights, She then hopped on the bed and started to caress his body.
"Chai Yawa!!!! He screamed as she massaged his bald head.

Chief Olawale was sitting at the lounge taking a sip of Don simon shots, his phone began to ring, he then picked the call,
" Moturanyo baby, how are you?

"Chief i am not fine, I have not seen the money you promised me, Motunrayo said.

"Don't worry i will send it to you.

"Ok then, where should we meet.
"Quilox as ususal, Chief Olawale replied. Bolanle immediately stepped in, and Chief Olawale immediately stop the call. She stared at him in stern, out of fear if getting caught he said ; Woman what is it?

Tana village.

"How can someone tell me that Simone's body and my child is nowhere to be found".

"Last time i checked, the baby was not yours, Gaburu confronted Yakubu in the midst of the villagers.

"Provide the answers i need", Yakubu said in rage to Gaburu, everyone kept shut, no one dared to question him, since all their integrity have been bought, the only upright man that could speak up was Gaburu, but now only heaven could avert what Yakubu was about to do to him.

FLASHBACK.
"I promise to make you my wife, Yakubu said as he smooched Khadija's hands, i just need you to tell me where Simone and the baby is.
"I don't know, Khadija hummed as she hesitated to give a reply.
Yakubu pressured her the more, he went as far as giving her a frebch kiss and some bundle of naira notes tied with rubber band.
"I will buy plane for you, just mention it. Yakubu said to her. What can't such statement do to a village girl, especially a young, naive and gullible one. Khadija immediately sat on Yakubu's laps and told him everything that had happened, Yakubu then thanked her, and kindly lured her to lay with him that evening.

"You have nothing to fear, i called for you and i promised to make it worthwhile. He said as he began to loose her dress one by one.

Yakubu then called out Khadija in the midst of the villagers, "Faɗa wa kowa abin da kuka faɗa mini", he said urging her to speak out everything she had told him.
In extreme anxiety and panic, Khadija stepped in front of the villagers. She began to mumble her words like a kid and began to spill out the beans in their dialect.

"Mahaifina Gaburu, ya taimaki Simone da yaran sun tsere, kuma ya yanke shawarar cewa zai yanke hukuncin kisan."

The whole villagers that where in the village square where in shock, and they all stared at Gaburu, in distaste, unbelief. He was a man that had preached integrity, the eyes of the gods, the one that constantly insisted on rightful living. He was a hypocrite after all, the people of Tana conversed among themselves.

Chief Mubarak and the rest of the Chiefs, grinned, continiously, "We finally got him" they said among themselves, all that was left was for Yakubu to pronounce judgement on him.

Gaburu on the otherhand was pale as a fish that just got caught, he looked at his wife and then at his daughter. "Why did you do this? He asked her with tears flowing down from his eyes. Khadija also couldn't fight back the tears from her eyes, she cried as if there was no tomorrow, and constantly ran to plead for Gaburu's mercy.
Yerima at this point was also in tears, all of them anticipating Yakubu's gruesome judgement.

"Yakubu clears his throat and said;
"This is my judgement, Gaburu is to be beheaded by Gafu at the earliest cock crow this day next week."
And from henceforth the title Chief priest cease to exist in Tana village, And no service to any god must stop".

Gaburu was then taken to a cave that was heavily surrounded by hefty men to be kept there till the execution date. He was also stripped off his charms, talisman and everything that was an embodiment of voodoo.
His wife and daughter was taken hostage. Gafu Gaburu's brother was in total agony, he was told to behead his own blood brother. How could he do such? How will he even go about? How will he even look into his eyes, what words will he say to him? All this crossed his mind as he pobdered through.

Most of the villagers sighed in sympathy, and considered Yakubu's action bizzare, while the rest jubilated tremendously, "At least no more annual sacrifices, and unnecessary contributions, one of the village women said to another.
Among themselves on each and every category, from the palm wine tapper, farmer, fisherman to the merchant the news spread like wildfire. The issue became the topic of the moment in the mouth of every market woman, and in the nook and crannies of the village.
