It was a Sunny afternoon, a Saturday to be precised. Everywhere was quite serene, apart from the commercial places. The markets, especially the open ones, they were widely patronized by people of diverse ethnicity as usual.

As a common norm in Africa, Nigeria basically, the people were negotiating the price of each and every product they were about to purchase, some even tested the product to ensure it offer the quality service they are in need of.

The nook and crannies of some sidewalks were were either full of little wraps of sachet water and litters of dirts, there were constant noise made by the thugs, the market women were busy quarrels, And the constant hospitality shown by the buyers to the marketers

All this contribute to the cliche of an average African market arena.

Let's forget about the majority of the world perspective of africa as being a messed up habitation. From my "Creativ imaginata" as a writer, I feel you that if you have not experienced the African life, it means you have not known the meaning of life, all Africans know what I am talking about.

Mrs Bolanle Olawale, who happened to be Ayo's mother, had made her way to the market this day.
Even though she came late She happened to have bypass all the customer to get that she wanted to buy.

That wasn't fair, most all of the other customers complained. But who had the audacity to challenge her when most of the Country's activities are based on corruption and favoritism especially with the saying that 'Money ansewereth all things'. This saying is the cankerworm and that eats deep into the marrows of our nation.

As a multilingual nation they were different reactions, some cursed, some yelled, some hissed and nod their head like a fainting agama lizard. Some gossipped and some just kept quiet. A nip was done against them in which they dared not challenged the woman, due difference in status, and social standing, 'The Prey dare not challenge the Predator.

On a normal note, nothing would have made Bolanle go to the market, if not for the fact that she wanted to just stretch her feet a little. With a woman with such Calibre, What will the wife to a politician do in the shabby looms of "Bend down select market".

As if the heavens were not smiling, As Bolanle approached home she witnessed a massive protest in front of her house gate.

The residents of Maitama were waving their individual signboards, making tremendous hullabaloo which the ears could not withstand listening to.

Bolanle ordered Soji her driver to turn back. She immediately picked up her phone and dialed her husband line.

Poor young man Soji, a graduate of medicine due to the unemployment dilemma in the country had no choice to settle down for such a meagre job.

He even count it as a blessing, at least he earns more than those working in the walls of an office, at least N20,000 or more is the least he get as tip in a day, Where will you see that in Nigeria? all from the embezzlement of public funds which are stupendously spent.
