9: Good news!

It was a harmattan season in Abuja Nigeria, some of the trees were with dry leaves and weak branches, And everywhere seem to be cold leaving the body of most people white except those with good grease ointment or extra ordinary oily skin. While everywhere seem to be quiet than usual that was otherwise for Alhaji's household. What was the reason behind this? It was Simone's birthday the long anticipated day She had been waiting for, her 20th birthday.
The 15 bedroom mansion was decorated with oysters, balloons ribbons, and different 3d artworks. Even at the entrance into Alhaji's street a Billboard was mounted with Simone's picture on it saying Happy birthday to the Queen. Many passerbys took photos of the Billboard, some ladies even said to themselves I wish I was lucky as her.

Entering into Alhaji's house one would think you are in a
island paradise.

Alhaji, I want my birthday to be like a beach party, kind of Island stuff.
Oh baby, Alhaji replied, Sebi you know that I promised to fly you to Lagos so that you can experience a true beach party. So just be patient till then.

The beach party! She got this suggestion from Lara and Britney her school mates. Lara who happens to be an Event planner gave her the outlook and dresscode for everyone that day.
Hurry up, Simone said to Nashiru has he was about parking in the lot. So this is where? she asked him. "Shop- rite" he said.She winds down the glass actually because the way her car is you can't see anyone outside from inside, and people outside can't see who's inside. She stepped down in a dazzling Ankara crop-top she had gotten from trade fair. She then placed an hijab over her head, even if Alhaji never really bothered her much about it, she still tried her best to follow the custom. She held her Gucci hand bag and put on her house of lunette's eyeglass. Nashiru came down from the car matching behind her as an escort. If one didn't notice quick you will mistake them as couples.

Immediately Simone entered the building all the security guards stared at her the security man checked her bag and greeted her, he then allowed her in. She walked poisely and soon into the crowd Whao!! Some guys exclaimed behind her.

Strangers POV.
Look at that girl she is a perfect example of black beauty, "abi!" the other guy replied him. Am going to try walking up to her, I double dare you? Justin said to Hassan, Hassan exit the building out of cowardice, and justin comes running after him*****,

Simone was already in the store with 4 securities pushing a trolley each along with her and Nashiru that is six large trolleys in total.

How much is everything Simone asked the cashier after everything had been scanned. The cashier sigh his head in excitement and nod his head this for only one person he said. After calculating everything the amount was 500,000 naira. Simone then removed 100 dollars from her bag she then handed it over to the security men " share it among yourselves they whole begin to thank her and hurriedly collected the money because of the camera incase of the supervisors watching. She inserted her card to the POS machine and tapped her code.

The Security men help her as they stocked all the loads in the car booth and closed it. Simone walk up to the car as she was to enter they exclaimed " take it easy ma'am. She finally entered the car, Nashiru then closed the door for her and entered the car
The Security men wave their hands out of gratitude they directed Nashiru as he drove out through the exit. Then they wait for some seconds after the car had already left the premises then they began to tussle for the 100 dollar Simone had given them.....

IN THE CAR
Simone took up her iPhone 7x : and saw the debit alert: "your remaining account balance is N25134500. She then swipes off her phone as she rest her hair on the seat. Nashiru drive straight to the spa I need to take a massage. I can do that for you Alhaja, Nashiru replied. I hope you are in your right senses.********

BACK AT THE MANSION.
Everyone was already present, the chief cook which happen to be Amira, had already set the dinning tables: 5 dinning tables with 20 seaters. each.visitors and family relatives of Alhaji had already come over; his business partners, his wife and children from abroad, his uncle's and entire family clan different people were all present. Even his concubines like maryam, Monica (Even after the incident).
Shortly some group of men in a Uniform written on it "Jumia" came in as they begin to offload boxes off their van into the house, another van also came in with people on a vest with "Payporte" they also began to offload boxes also.

The party was set to begin at 3:30pm everything was already set, A musician popularly known by the name Tiwa Savage opened the show with one of her single called 'All over' everyone stood up and begin to dance, moving their body in different directions to follow the beat of the dance.

Within the space of an hour, refreshments have been served 5 good times, it was now time for the cutting of the cake, Where is Simone Alhaji asked Nashiru she will soon be here, she is in the make up room with her friends. Tell her to hurry up said Alhaji to him.

Simone steps out being decorated with butterflies and periwinkles on her hair she was then wearing a nylon gown decorated with mosaic artworks of nature. She looked stunning, everyone cheered as she came on the stage. The men took photos of her continuously and a music was played called legover. Immediately Simone started to dance and everyone hailed her. Most people came to her after the performance to take her telegraph, she then was asked to spell her name as she cut the cake.

Mum Shaki pursued Susan into the kitchen " I have been calling you since, and you don't want to answer me get me enough food to take home she handed to her three big stainless culars one for chicken, Turkey and rice. the two small plates under are for salad and spring rolls. Susan tried to hesitate but she remembered that she owed two months house rent so she answered her in other to avoid embarrassment.

"Is this the kinda of Wife our brother is married to" Alhaji's siblings began to discuss among themselves. Simone walk up to them, she knelt down and and greeted them, "maraba"( you are welcome) nagode yar my (you are welcome our daughter) they replied.
Ina fatan abinci ya Isa she asked if the food was enough then they replied her: Eh hakane( yes it was). Senu she said to them she then walked away.

The party came to an end, some people left while the rest were popping champagne in the pool. At least there was enough space to size over 200 people if they ever felt of spending the night.
Alfa Ali is Alhaji's elder brother everything that had happened did not please him at all, he said to Alhaji: "Ba ma son karuwa ga mata" meaning we don't want a prostitute for a wife. The issue almost led to an outburst from Alhaji, but he was able to calm his nerves. Meanwhile Simone heard everything.

Alhaji stepped into his private living room he took up a pen and started to fill in three cheques the first cheque contained 4million naira, the second one was $50000 and the third was $20000. He then looked over to Sulaimon who was standing behind. the first cheque is for the musician that performed, the second one is for my wife and kids from abroad. And the third one is for my whole family that came today, He said.
And take this he handed 10 bundles each containing hundred thousand naira each, take two bundles and spray the rest to the remaining people outside swimming. Sulaimon bow to his feet to Alhaji to show forth his gratitude, he then walked away.

Simone stepped in and thanked Alhaji, my husband i am so grateful for today, Alhaji cuddled her anything for you my love he said to her. I heard what Alfa Ali said to you earlier, and am not happy she moved away from him out of anger, Alhaji apologized but she turned deaf hears after that, they both got into an heated argument. Simone looks at him and chuckled am now a little girl Alhaji, not your wife she was about walking out when Amira came in with a letter "Doctor Francis from Asokoro General hospital dropped this, she said." Where is he? Said Simone , he is at the dinning table eating. Okay thanks, you can go Simone said to Amira. Mind you she spoke all this in hausa because Amira doesn't understand English. Simone turned a blind eye toward Alhaji and sat on the Chair next to him. She opened the letter and read everything. She then burst into laughter and gave Alhaji the letter, Alhaji collected the letter anxiously. He read every word piece by piece. This is wonderful, he said, he ran over to Simone and embraced her, I am sure you are happy now, you are 3 weeks pregnant, he kissed her deeply on her lips and then carried her up in his arm and March toward the 🛏️ bedroom, "let's go on a journey he said to her as they both burst into laughter.
