I stared blankly at the one-eyed man before me. Tall, dark-skinned, with an attitude that screamed 'don't fuck with me.'

Before I could say anything, he turned around and walked toward the parking lot.

"I'm sure you have questions, kid, but I'm starving and I could use a drink. There's a ramen shop not too far from here. My treat."

Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I apprehensively trailed behind him. We were seated in the farthest corner of the restaurant, away from prying eyes and eavesdroppers. It was my turn to cross my arms and glare, "ok talk."

Fury shoots me a glare right back and pulls out a file with the words 'classified' printed on the front.

"(Y/n), I work for the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division better known as S.H.I.E.L.D. We a counter-villain and intelligence agency that operates outside government jurisdictions, tasked with maintaining global security," he started, opening the folder, spreading out it contents. Pictures of a blue cube and groups of soldiers were laid before me.

"The explosion you experienced was from a power source called the Tesseract. The extent of its power is unknown but what we do know is that in the 1940's a group of extremists called Hydra, were able to harness its power and tried to take over the world. They were almost successful, too, if it weren't for Captain America," he pointed a black and white photo of a man with a star shield. "And you somehow absorbed the power of the Tesseract." He paused and looked at me, gauging my reaction.

A glowing cube? World domination? Spy's? S.H.I.E.L.D.? This all sounds too unreal, as if it came straight from Izuku's comic books. I stared down at the food before me, the ramen was getting cold.
"And what do you expect from me? I'm not gonna be some lab rat."

He smirked and took a swig of his saké, "you're not gonna be a lab rat, per se, but we do need you to be in more control of your power, don't want you causing a nuclear fallout or some shit like that," my face paled at the idea of causing mushroom clouds over Musutafu. Fury chuckled at the freighted look on my face, "don't worry kid, you'll be under the watchful eyes of one of my closest associates. He works at U.A high school."

My eye widened to the plate of saucers, "U.A?! Does that mean I'm gonna be a-"

"Hero? More or less. But we do expect you to do a couple S.H.I.E.L.D. missions every now and then." He takes a napkin and writes an address on it.

"Come to this location at 6 am sharp. Your training begins tomorrow."
