Addison's POV

The next day, I woke up to Dixie pulling an air mattress into my room. She held up the pump and the air pressure tank. I grinned, nodding toward the side of my room.

She had been sleeping in Avani's room for a couple nights, but yesterday we had talked about setting up her own space in my room.

Along with her new clothing rack and a few wall posters from her room at home, she set up a space a few feet from my own, with her ring light mirror decorating my coffee table.

Things had been normal between us. Joking around, singing songs, and lounging around the Hype House—watching crappy reality TV, making Tik Toks, and hanging out with our friends.

Griffin and the other boys had apologized to me for knocking me down, and they even brought me a Starbucks drink to show that they meant it.

I was happy. I had a new friend, a stuffed animal, and 3 million followers on Tik Tok. What else could I ask for?

8 PM

Dixie's POV

The day had passed slowly, with everyone in the house staying inside. The weather had been stormy, and we sat in the living room, watching a movie on the mounted television screen.

"I am so BORED," Chase groaned, sliding around in the armchair he was ungracefully sitting in.

"Me too," Bryce agreed, yawning.

"Guys, shut up, I think Ma is about to blow this basement up," Charli said, eyes glued to the screen.

"Who cares. This movie sucks."

"Agreed. Let's play a game, this night is getting seriously disappointing."

I glanced over at Addison, who was sitting cross-legged on the couch, talking to Kouvr.

My eyes rolled around the room. I was honestly bored to tears as well.

"I'm in," I said, looking at Chase.

"You are?" Griffin asked from the reclining chair next to me.

"Unless you have a better suggestion," I grinned at him.

"Spin the bottle." Chase declared, standing up righteously.

"You're such a pervert, Chase," Avani scoffed.

"And? What else are we going to do? We're trapped in this house with a freaking tornado happening outside. We might as well live a little before we die."

He swiftly moved around the room, pulling us from our chairs and into a tight circle on the ground.

"We need a bottle, you idiot," Alex punched Chase's arm.

"Here,"  Bryce burped, handing over an empty bottle of Jack Daniel's.

Chase laughed, snatching it from his hand. "I'll go first."

Addison's POV

We all leaned in closer as Chase carefully spun the bottle in the middle of the circle. It went round and round, slowly coming to a stop right in front of...

Kouvr.

"No! Hey, no! Re-spin!" Alex yelled, grabbing the bottle and handing it back to Chase. "Relationship people aren't playing like that."

Kouvr rolled her eyes. "It's fine, Alex." And she leaned over, giving Chase a quick peck on the mouth.

The boys laughs took over the room and the girls and I looked at Kouvr, impressed.

"Okay, Tony, you spin."

The bottle spun, and we all fell into a trance once more.

"Larray!!"  We all gushed, cracking up at the boy's shocked expression.

Tony laughed, leaning over Avani to see Larray's face.

"No! Nuh uh, I am not kissing a straight boy," Larray cried, hopping back from the circle.

The bottle was spun, over and over, and we died laughing as we watched our friends smooch each other giddily.

"OOOOO, DIXIEEEE," Chase and Thomas roared.

I looked up, to see Griffin's surprised grin as his bottle landed on none other than Dixie herself.

Dixie giggled, smiling at him from behind Charli's shoulder. Charli shoved her forward, and Dixie crept across the circle to meet him.

The room was silent as she reached out to touch his shoulder, turning her head to the side as she kissed his lips.

I watched her hand grasp onto his sleeve, for seemingly forever, until they pulled apart, and Griffin sat dopily with a gigantic smile plastered on his face.

"Low-key... That was so hot." Thomas said seriously as Chase doubled over beside him.

"I'll go," I said suddenly, not recognizing my own voice.

I brought the bottle to the middle of the circle, expertly spinning it with one hand. I sat back on my calves and I watched it move clock-wise, threatening to fall on anyone involved.

Thudthudthudthud-thud-thud-thud—thud.

The bottle had chosen my fate. I looked up at Bryce, who was smirking at me from his space in the circle.

I stood up, all eyes traveling me as I stepped carefully through the circle, until I was directly above Bryce's watchful gaze.

I sat down, in his lap, my arms wrapping around his broad shoulders.

Dixie's POV

Addison's long legs glided through the circle, crossing around Bryce's waist as she sat down in his lap.

I stared at them, my veins throbbing in my head. What she really going to kiss him like that?

Bryce pressed his mouth hungrily against hers, and I heard her muffled gasp of surprise. After a second, she brought her hands to the sides of his face, holding him in place as she kissed him.

I felt my heart surge. My vision blurred, and a ringing sound filled my ears. My heart beak picked up, thumping uncomfortably in my chest.

Their lips smacked as she pulled away, eloquently standing up and retreating to her seat near Avani, sitting down in the same casual position as she had been before.

Everyone clapped, except for Charli (and me—obviously) and the boys hooted wildly. I could feel Charli's eyes scanning my face from across the circle.

"I'll be right back..." I announced quietly, moving to stand up.

"No, Dixie, it's your turn." Bryce passed me the bottle, dropping it into my lap.

I went silent, hands shaking with tension.

"Fine."

I spun the bottle viciously, sending it flying in circles.

I closed my eyes, wanting for this to be over with so I could be alone.

"Hell. Yes." Bryce laughed in disbelief.

"Dixie," Charli whispered, and I opened my eyes.

The bottle lay flat, pointing directly at Addison.
