Dixie's POV

The days dragged by slowly.

I slept alone in her room, Charli forcing me to eat food, though I had lost all sense of appetite.

By Wednesday, I began feeling better. The Hype House was having a meet and greet at The Grove in LA.

I went on Live with Charli, inviting all of our followers to come meet us at the event.

Addison Rae has joined the live.

"We're really excited to see all of you!!" Charli hopped around the kitchen, music blasting from the living room. "Can someone bring me Dunkin?"

Thousands of comments flooded the chat. "I will Charli!!!" and "Cold brew with caramel and whole milk!!"

I laughed, seeing Thomas's comment to mention the signed photos for purchase.

I wish I could be there.

My smile dropped, reading her comment, hearing her voice play in my head.

"Okay. See you all on Friday," I said, pulling Charli into the frame.

The live ended and I walked out of the kitchen.

Wish I could be there. Wish I could be there.

Friday morning

Griffin pulled me onto the bus, all of us chatting loudly as we headed to the mall.

Fans swarmed the walkways, crowding around the tables we had set up.

I was happy, for the first time in a week. I gave everyone big hugs, embracing all of their sweet, smiling faces.

Griffin's arm was resting across the top of my chair, shoulder extending over the back.

"Can I take a photo with you two? I totally ship Grixie."

Griffin laughed, leaning in close to me, as the girl pointed her front camera towards us.

"Sayyyyy Grixie!" she smiled, laughing as she pushed record.

"Grixie!" Griffin and I both cheesed into the camera, laughing.

As she walked away, Griffin turned to me. "That could really be something, you know."

"What, Grixie?"

"Yeah, Grixie. I think you're really cool, and obviously the fans love it."

I stared at him, unsure if he was serious.

"I'm serious!" he laughed, reading my thoughts. "That kiss during spin the bottle... I felt something."

I was still staring.

"And I was hoping that you did too."

I had felt something. It was nice to kiss Griffin. It was easy. And he was naturally my type—undoubtedly.

"I want to take you on a date."

"Okay."

"Okay, yes? Alright!"

The rest of the meet and greet flew by, and my stomach fluttered at my upcoming date.
