Part 10- Nath meets Sian. Tom meets Tanya. I meet an unwanted event.

Daisy POV

When I got home Jay had forwarded me the Details.

‘ 81 Albert Street Venue, London. Can’t wait to see you Daisy x’

It didn’t say a dress code. I tried to call Jay but he wouldn’t pick up, so I just had to improvise. I never understood the term ‘I have nothing to wear’ until now. I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR. I had barely finished unpacking, sure, I had casual clothes but nothing for a party. I dug to the bottom of my suitcase until I touched something which didn’t have the texture of clothes. I pulled out a dark blue Zara carrier bag, it had a note on it. ‘Hi Love. I know you said not to get you a leaving present, but I found this in your website history..Forgive me for looking! I Love You. Mum x’   I pulled out a black chiffon short floaty dress I had been trying to save for but never managed to buy forever. It was perfect for the party! It made me well up because I miss her so much. Once I was ready I came down the stairs and Dad was sitting on the sofa looking through the family album. He tried to shove it down the side when he saw me, but he knew I had seen him. “Aah Love,” He smiled “You look great, going anywhere special?” “Thanks, Dad. Just a little party with some friends” I went over and hugged him reassuringly. “Sorry, Dad, but I won’t be back tonight, I’m staying at, er, Sian's.” He just nodded and smiled awkwardly. “Bye” We both smiled.

I got in the cab and gave the driver the address. It was only a short drive, and we pulled up there was loads of people, guys in suits and girls looking really posh. I couldn’t see the guys anywhere, I looked for a minute. “Erm. We’re here?” the driver smiled fakely. I was about to tell him to go around the block again when I said Nathan and Max, then Jay, Tom and Siva behind them. They were dressed up, in suits and ties but in skinny jeans instead of those ridiculous black bootlegged trousers. I stepped out the cab and everyone turned around and it went quieter. I walked up the stairs to the boys who met me half way. We all greeted each other and Jay walked next to me by the side, he didn’t hold my hand or kiss my cheek like he normally does. When we inside the venue, he took me to one side. “Daisy, You look, wow” Jay looked me up and down. “Pahah, really? Why was everyone staring at me? Did I get the dress code wrong?” “No Dais, it’s cos’ you look stunning” “Aw Jay, you don’t look too shabby yourself!” I went to kiss him but he dodged it. “Jay?” “Look Daisy, I’m Sorry. But now I’m you know, well-known, I can’t do this sort of stuff in public. If I get photographed, the fans won’t like it. Anyway, you and me are special, we should tell them in our own time, they shouldn’t find out by front cover of a newspaper” I nodded, “I understand” I smiled. “I won’t be able to keep my eyes of you Daisy,” “Shh. C’mon let’s go in” we walked into the Party.

It was dark inside, although it was lit up by the bar and the light beams around the room. It was pretty packed, with a DJ playing cheesy music in the corner. Me and Jay separated, I was with Nath, Siva and Max waiting for Sian to turn up. "Nervous?" Max asked Nath. "Naaa" Nath said but we could tell he was, we could see his glass wobbling from his hand shaking. I saw Sian at the door, I waved at her and went over to greet her. "Do I look okay, Do I look okay?!" She said to me nervously. She was wearing a lacy black dress and her hair was neatly hairsprayed up. "Sian you look amazing!" I said "Nathan is one lucky guy!" "I still can't believe you know him, Dais! Thank you so much for doing this for me!" "aw Sian it's fine, i'm sure you'll get on great anyway" I smiled. Sian looked at me and over to Nath. "Why aren't you with Jay?" She asked. I cleared my throat and changed the subject. "C'mon Sian, Nath's waiting" I said taking her by the arm. We went over and I introduced them.

Tom was dancing with a girl. She looked nice, wearing a floral dress. Everyone else was dancing properly whereas she and Tom where doing ‘Classic’ dance moves such as the ‘Wobbly Knees’. They were getting on so well. Tom came over to us. “Heyyy Guys! Enjoying the party?” he asked. We all smiled, “Who’s the lucky lady?” I laughed. “I’m the lucky guy more like! Her name’s Tanya, she’s agreed to let me by her a drink!” he grinned dancing off to the bar. I watched him go, and saw Jay at the bar also, he was talking to someone. I saw him look up and over to me, giving me a smile. I smiled back and looked down to my drink.

Nathan and Sian really seemed to enjoying each other’s company. “Go on,” I smiled “Go buy her a drink” I smiled to Nathan, so they did. Max went to go make a musical request, so me and Siva were just talking. “Do you want a refill Daisy, I think I’m going to get another” Siva asked. “erm, Yes please, Just a water though” I smiled.

JAY POV

Siva had just come over to get drinks for him and Daisy. I looked over to her and a horrible feeling went through me. I didn’t think- I just acted.
