Part 22: Cheat
Sian broke the silence. “Don’t you worry,” she said in a more comforting voice. “It’ll happen soon, just you wait.” I was still just staring at the floor, drowning amongst my own thoughts.
“Tea?” Sian asked arising from the sofa like some sort of hero. “Yes please” Tanya peeped teaching for the television remote, I looked up at Sian who gestured towards the kitchen subtly mouthing ‘KITCHEN, NOW’ I stood up and followed her through. She closed the kitchen door behind us and switched the kettle on, the noise of the boiling masked our voices. “There’s something you need to tell me” Sian said asif she could read my thoughts. “er, what?” I replied playing dumb. “Don’t piss about,” she said seriously, “It’s you isn’t it?” “Me?” I questioned. “do you want me to spell it out for you? You and...” She quietened down, “Tom.” She whispered. My heart felt like it had been squeezed. I paused. She was staring at me. I nodded.
“oh my god, Daisy!” She said, but she was smiling. “I know, I know, I feel awful, I don’t know how it just, he just, I don’t even know it just happened!” I said beginning to pace around the kitchen slightly. “Daisy what is IT? You didn’t, did you!?” Sian said her mouth open wide. “what?” I questioned. “You didn’t have IT did you?” she asked, “OH NO, NO” I let out, “I’m not some sort of slut” “So what happened?” She asked interested. “We only...kissed...well not even that, we were about to and then we were interrupted” “YOU GOT CAUGHT?!” Sian asked. “no, no, Tom hid under the bed” “damn Dais, how was it, he is hot I’m not going to lie” Sian said excitedly. “it was okay.” I shrugged. Sian just looked at me and said, “I’m not stupid, how was it?” “Oh god it was amazing” I let out and sprung round the room, she followed me asking me to tell her more. “I know this is so wrong because I am so in love with Jay but it was so amazing.” I let out, Sian nodded enthusiastically. We sat at the kitchen table and I told her the story. “He slowly walked towards me and reached down and touched my hand, I felt tingles all through me, he put his hand on my face and we slowly moved towards each other, it was like a dream. We took our time and the moment was so intimate, so intense and our lips barely touched, I felt the static between our lips, that’s when had to tear away from each other” Sian’s mouth was wide open, “Dais, it sounds like heaven” I stood up quickly, “BUT NOW ITS ALL A MESS!” “What’s all a mess?” Tanya said opening the kitchen door. “Oh, er, the tea” Sian quickly improvised, “Too much milk,” Sian said, “Makes the tea to cold. It’s just a mess now, i’ll make another.” I nodded “Sorry, I just get a bit stressed when my tea isn’t, er, exactly how I like it...” “Oh haha” Tanya shrugged and helped Sian with the tea. My heart resumed its normal pace and I deeply sighed with relief.
*Author's note: Sorry the parts are so short! I just like to have an event a part. So we discover it was Tom who Daisy had an intimate encounter with! Sorry I made it a bit obvious... So where does it go from here? Now Sian knows will it stay a secret? Also Daisy hasn't spoken or seen Tom since so will he just leave it, call it a stupid accident and never speak of it again?
