Part 19
Everyone was downstairs on the sofa watching Elf on television. It was nearly Christmas so watching Elf on the telly was a must, and it was so nice to be around everyone. Sian and Nathan were proper cuddled up together under a blanket; I was resting my head on Jay’s chest with the duvet, Tanya and Tom were, er, snuggled up together and Siva and Max where doing impressions of us all. There was a break in the film and everyone sighed deeply, “Damn Channel 4” Max said raising his fist to the air, we all laughed. “I’ll put the kettle on!” Nathan shouted standing up and everyone cheered. “I’m going to get into my jammies” I smiled standing up, kissing Jay on the forehead and dashing up the stairs, tripping on most of them, I heard laughter from down stairs. I went into Jay’s room and took off my black leggings and christmas jumper changing back into the black Nirvana top and grabbing my hair into a bun, I turned round to look for my hair band when I realised the door handle being pushed down and slowly opening. He walked in slowly, barely even inside and shut the door behind him.
Nath POV
I filled the kettle up and put it on to boil, Sian came in wrapping her arms around my neck and giving me a firm kiss on the lips. We were interrupted by Jay. “Don’t mind me,” he said opening the cupboard “You two carry on” he continued grabbing the biscuit tin and taking it back into the living room. I rolled my eyes at him, I went to kiss Sian again but we were yet again interrupted, but this time, by Tanya. “Sorry!” she giggled dodging past us and grabbed her glass of water, “It’s okay.” Sian said harshly, I glared at her with my ‘BE NICE’ look, Sian just rolled her eyes.
Jay POV
I opened the biscuit tin and Tanya reached into it before I could as she walked back into the room. She laughed as she bit into it, “I am soo excited for christmas!” She giggled, she really was a giggler. “What are you doing for christmas Tan?” I asked, she had to think about it. “hmm, I don’t actually know!” She laughed to herself, “I was thinking of asking Tom if he wanted to come to my parents with me” Nathan and Sian had just joined us as Tanya said this. “Oh, well, I think Tom is spending Christmas with us?” I stuttered out and everyone nodded agreeing with me. It was pretty silent, “Look, Elf’s back on” Nathan said breaking the silence and pointing at the TV. “DAISY!” I shouted, “ELF’S BACK ON!”
