The end of the day came and Remus felt even worse than before. He had seen Logan all day besides at the battle. And even then, he seemed just as confused as anybody else. He hadn't seen Janus and Virgil for the rest of the day either. However, Remus knew that if he could get Virgil away from the snake, he would talk. He just didn't know how to go about that yet.

As he was walking to his locker, people in the halls congratulated him or gave him pats on the back. Remus felt only slightly better. He must've gotten into the final round.

But of course, a few lockers from him, he could see Patton, Remy, Emile, and Roman celebrating themselves getting into the final round too. Roman hugged his boyfriend tightly, a smile on his face upon realizing just how happy he was. Remus wish he could say the same.

The drummer took a breath, looking at the drumsticks on the top shelf of his locker. Something had been weird all day. And at the moment, he was tired of not knowing or understanding why. So, Remus slammed his locker shut, and walked over to the celebrating crowd.

He was only a few feet away when they noticed him standing their. Remy hugged Emile close as Roman did the same with Patton. "What do you want, Remus?" Roman shot out, making his brother tense.

"Where is Logan?" He demanded to know.

"Probably in the library or something. I don't give a shit," Remy snarked, adjusting his sunglasses cockily.

"You never did! I know you didn't care about him before, but why are you treating him even worse now!?"

"He knows what he did! He betrayed us! You of all people should know that!" Remus was more confused than ever. It was like this was a joke, and he had yet to find the punch line. At this point, Remus himself felt like the punch line.

"Why do you not care about, Logan?! He's the smartest, nicest, most humble person I know. It still boggles my mind that he hangs out with you assholes all the time!"

"He doesn't have much of a choice," Emile added in, hugging close to Remy.

"It's either us or nobody. And since he can play keyboard so well, he's decided to stick with us!" Remy spat, "He's better off with us anyway! He'd never survive in your freakshow!" With that, all of the boys walked off, giving him a sour look as they fled.

Remus' thoughts were spinning faster than he could process. But one thought rang loud and clear; he had to find Logan. With a quickened pace, he hurried off to the library. Even though the drummer didn't exactly know where the library was, but he wouldn't stop until he was to find his boyfriend.

Once he found it, he rushed inside. It wasn't super crowded, but it was quiet. Remus didn't like it. However, there was a faint sound coming from the back of the library. The drummer's ears perked up, recognizing the sound as someone crying. Logan.

It hurt his heart that the tears could be coming from Logan, so he did his very best to track the sound. Soon enough, at a corner desk facing the wall sat the nerdy boy. He had a large book opened to a page but he didn't seem to be paying attention to it. He gaze could be tracked to outside, watching couples marching about happily, which only brought more quiet sobs to his lips.

The drummer's heart snapped in half as he went over to comfort the poor boy. It made Logan jump once he realized Remus was behind him. But immediately, he put his head onto Remus' chest and continued to let loose tears fall. "It's okay, baby," Remus cooed. "I'm right here. And I'm not going anywhere."

"What has happened, Re?" Logan questioned, looking up at his creamy cocoa eyes. "One day, everything is perfect. And then the next, everything has fallen apart. Remy and the guys are pissed with me for whatever reason. They've been keeping me from you and-"

"They've been purposefully keeping you from me?" Remus clarified. His blood boiled with red hot rage as Logan nodded in return.

"I don't know what happened or what I did."

"You didn't do anything. Something weird happened. And that would have to explain why our friends are acting off!"

"Virgil and Janus are being weird too?" Logan asked with a shocked ring to his words. "I thought it was just my friends. But if it's yours too, something bigger is going on than either of us expect."

"What do you suggest we do?" Remus asked, slipping his hand effortlessly into Logan's. "The final battle is on Friday. So, we should probably think of something by then."

"That's in two days, Remus!" Logan began to panic, starting to pace circles around the increasingly dizzy drummer. "By the time we do come up with something it'll BE Friday! And then what? Leave our bands to hate us while we win prizes you and I don't even care about anymore?" Remus watched Logan slowly lose his mind. Everytime he wished to interject with his idea or thought, Logan would speak again.

Fianlly, Logan collapsed back into his chair, rubbing his hands up and down his face. "I just don't know what to do!"

"Hey hey, it's alright. You don't have to have all the answers right away, baby," Remus told him, followed by trapping him in a loose hug. "We'll figure something out. And even if we don't we always have each other." Logan nodded with a stressed smile resting on his cheeks. He supposed the drummer was right. Even if he didn't want to admit it.

"N-Not that I was listening in on your conversation," A new, familiar voice spoke. "But, I-I think I might be able to help you two."
