Silence reigned as the girls read this, no boy tried to speak a word, even the juvial Ben had no remarks to add.

God no.....no.....NO!" Naj shouted as she fell to the ground, her eyes watering as she wailed.

"He was gone.......he truely was gone"

"We need to find him" Toni said the pain evident in his trembling teenage masculine voice "he couldn't have gone far" he concluded as his eyes met with naj's watering eyes.

"Sorry champ we can't" Brown said as he put his hand on Toni's in the most fatherly way he could.

"No, no we can't just forget him!"

"Toni sit down your leg can't take the stress"

"Hell no, doctor!-" he said as he hobbled past naj's crying body and unto jacksons chest. "- please your a solider you gotta be able to track him"

"Boy i tried ok.....I tried"

"No you didn't!-"

"-Toni its enough" Naj said dropping the letter now decorated with tear drop. "When you went to track him what happened?".

"I and ray set out to find him. He had stolen a car."

"- A Honda civic, if the car type matters to you" ray added in a sacarstic tune.

"So we took a car from the parking lot and tracked him".
"By around 10 we pulled up at an office building not to far away. The building wasnt a really big one, it was like 3 floors tops. I figured he was heading for their cafeteria or something of sort, heck maybe a bathroom break.

"We waited for a while and he didn't emerge from the building. So we decided to get out and look for him. Soon as we came out of the car, a group of men in red cloaks came out with a wiggling body bag.

"We decided to act, so we opened fire in hopes of scaring them. But they returned fire and one of the bullets grazed ray.
" Ray was injured and I couldn't take them all alone, so i left them to take him.
"On our way back we picked up a trail of tho....those creatures"

"So what we just let him die!" Toni shouted from behind Naj.

"Better him than me" ray said earning himself a scornful glare from Naj.

"Look he chose to leave and he got himself kidnapped. Why do we have to risk our lives to save his-" ray said through clenched teeth as James applied disinfectant to his grazed cheek.

"-Thats enough Raymond" Brown shouted "do you have any leads on how to find him?"

"Yes his phone, John can track it right?"

"Well yes I can, but I'm gonna need internet connection." John said barely staring away from his laptop

"Where can we find that in a zombie apocalypse " Ben asked, a hint of sacarsm slipping through his voice.

"Would an apple store be of help" Asmaa said her small voice shaking behind her words as she regained control over herself.

"Oh great you decided to help. Since when does the life of a miscreant matter" Naj said through furrowed brows and a reddened face.

"There should an apple store in the next city. We can track him from there."

"There's no way we are going back to the city!" Ray said "it's a death trap".

"Yes there isn't Ray, that's why we are going to drop you in the nearest motel" john said with a cold voice barely looking up from his system.
"Road trip!" Ben shouted winking at Toni, causing him to smile a bit.

That morning was a rather heartbreaking morning, Ben couldn't decide which was worst, how Naj reacted or how Toni broke down when he heard the news. Its been 4 hours and the two where still sobbing in the corner.

Ben had propped himself next to Naj and had started stroking her hair whispering 'it's going to be ok".
Deena wasn't doing too well to, she had cried for two hours and was now sitting down quietly in the corner as Ashley told her the story of how she lost pet goldfish.
"So how long is this road trip" Micheal said with a smile.

"Look who finally beat the bug" Ben said as he and Naj made their way towards him at the back the bus

"Hate to break the happy vibe, but get your guns we are stopping for gas".
