Eridan pov.
The kids in the lunchroom were all chanting, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" As I punched Equius in the face. His glasses flew off and he scrambled after them. I let him, I wanted to be the only one to see his eyes. When he grabbed them and put them on I reached out for his hair.
My fingers snagged it and I threw him into a wall. He collided with it head first and a nasty gash appeared on his forehead. I swung at him again and managed to nail him right on his black eye.
He stumbled back and fell backwards, his next hitting the corner of the table. The lunchroom went silent. He wasn't moving.
Nepeta pushed her way to the front of the crowd and ran up to Equius, quickly checking his pulse. She hugged him and started to whisper to him.
Oh god, did I take this too far?
