This is absolutely insane.
Haerin was following the boys, who occasionally whipped out a sword, dagger, or whatever other weapon they could muster out, killing any monster upon sight.
"Why are there so many?" The boy, who she soon learned was named Jisung, asked the two other boys.
"She must be from the big three." Jeno said, casually slashing another monster while the rest of them continued.
"She can hear you." Haerin said, sending Jeno a glare. She watched as Jisung giggled before clearing his throat as Jeno shot him a look.
"Let's just hurry up and go." Mark said. Haerin stopped in her tracks, realizing that she had followed these boys without even asking where they were going. For all she knew, they could be kidnapping her.
"Wait, where are we going?" Haerin asked. Once the three boys realized that the girl wasn't beside them anymore, they turned around with wide eyes.
"Yah, are you trying to get killed?" Jeno exclaimed as Mark threw his knife, landing into the chest of another monster as Haerin turned around. She gulped.
"You know what, never mind. Let's just go." Haerin said, quickly scurrying with the boys.
If they wanted me dead, they probably would have left me with the monsters anyways.
They finally ended up in an abandoned alleyway filled with graffiti.
Jisung flipped the top of his watch and a portal opened. Haerin could only watch as Jeno stepped inside, disappearing. Mark was about to go in when he turned around.
"Are you coming? Jisung won't be able to hold this open much longer." Mark asked her.
Haerin glanced at the streets that she once called home before stepping into the portal, into a world of bright lights.
...
Haerin had landed on something uncomfortable.
"Ow." Not something, someone!
Haerin quickly stood up as Mark gave her a deathly glare, rubbing his arm.
"Sorry." Haerin mumbled as she took her duffel bag, swinging it over her shoulder.
"Let's just go. We have to hike up that hill and we'll be there." Mark said, pointing to the trail. Haerin gulped as she looked at it. Mark hadn't specified that the hill was probably the largest hill she had ever seen in her entire life.
The hike was quiet, the only sound being from their footsteps as they broke branches and leaves crunched under their feet. After what felt like an eternity, Haerin finally saw a sign near the top of the hill.
"I can't read-" Haerin's eyes widened as the sign that was once symbols changed into proper words. Camp Half-Blood.
As the four of them walked passed the sign, it was as if they had walked through a barrier. What was once a strawberry farm at the bottom of the hill was now a training ground, filled with youth training and battle cries.
"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood."
...
"Hi, my name is Dasom, Kim Dasom." The girl that was much too energetic for Haerin said, smiling brightly.
"Um. Hi." Haerin said, eyeing the girl.
"Aw, it's a girl." A male with dark blue hair said before turning towards Mark, Jeno, and Jisung. "I was hoping for another worker in the forge."
