"I'm relieved it's just a sprained ankle... it looked like you took quite the fall. But still... I don't recommend any more testing on your electro-mag bike. It'll put too much strain on your ankle."
Rose spoke softly, shifting the bag of ice and towel to the other side of GoGo's ankle. She heard the other female wince a bit, though she knew GoGo well enough that she'd become impatient.
"How long until I can get back to testing?"
"Mm... I would suggest you to rest up for at least a week. I can check up on it in a few days, however, and let you know how much longer... I know you really want to perfect your bike, but you still have time so no need to worry.
"... It's not fast enough though." GoGo muttered to herself, arms crossed over her chest as she looked to the side with a rather agitated looking expression.
"I know, but you really need to rest your ankle or it'll only get worse! And I don't want to see you in any pain." Rose exclaimed, the worry evident on her face.
GoGo turned back to look at the girl, her expression quickly softening into a slight smile.
"Okay, understood... Thanks Pix."
And with that, GoGo took hold of the bag of ice and towel, freeing Rose to go examine her next patient.
"Fred? Again?"
She watched the male laugh and nod his head slowly, a large cut spanning from his cheekbone to his chin.
"What'd you do this time?" Rose asked gently, grabbing a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and some cotton pads.
"Well it's not what I did... it's what the ninjas did." Fred started, his grin stretching from ear to ear.
Rose laughed and nodded, wetting the pad with the liquid before tenderly applying it to the wound.
"Ah! Careful, it still hurts. Those ninjas got me pretty well, but you should see what I did to them."
"Sorry... But I'm sure you must have dealt a lot of damage to them... probably made them want to quit their pursuit of evil."
The girl grinned at Fred as she tossed away the bloodied cotton pads in the trash, now fetching a tube of antibacterial cream and a few cotton swabs. She tend gingerly applied the ointment on the cut, spreading it evenly before applying a bandage secured by some medical tape.
"I'm proud of you, Fred. But please please be more careful next time, alright?" Rose offered him a sweet smile, taking a lollipop out from her coat pocket and giving it to the male.
"And don't touch or take off the bandage, okay? Or pick at your wound once it starts to scab. You don't want a scar there.
"Scar?" Fred asked curiously, unwrapping the candy and popping into his mouth.
"That'd be so freakin' awesome! I could tell people about my battle scars!"
Rose giggled and nodded along, patting Fred on the back to let him know that he could go back to the lab.
"I know it would be, but please don't do it, okay? Pinky promise?" She held out her pinky and had Fred pinky promise her that he wouldn't mess with his injury, promptly hugging the girl before returning to the lab.
"Thanks Pixie!" He yelled as he exited the room, skidding to the side in order to avoid running into someone.
"What'd Fred do this time, Pixie?" Tadashi entered with his esteemed grin that made Rose's heart skip a beat. He pulled the girl into a quick embrace before swiftly pecking her on the lips. The two had been dating for a year now, and she had to admit that it was one of the best years of her life so far. Not only that, but she got accepted into SFIT and was able to become San Fransokyo Tech's school nurse. It didn't sound like much, but she loved it and she tended to have a lot of patients as a result of all the testing and experiments that occurred in the school. Besides, she was really good at what she did.
