"That can't be..." She dropped to the floor, her whole body starting to shake.

"That can't be..." She repeated again, this time her voice betraying her as her words turned into a hoarse whisper.

"Tadashi... Tadashi..." Rose repeated his name over and over again, her voice breaking every other second.

"Tadashi can't be gone... he can't be gone..."

        "Hiro... where is he?"

The girl turned to look at the male as he stood there in the doorway, the rest of the gang hovering behind him. All of their faces look distraught as Rose waited for an answer.

"I... I told you, Rose... Tadashi is dead."

She swallowed hard and shook her head slowly.

"He can't..." She started, her hands now cradling her head as she sat there on the cold floor.

"He can't be go-" The tears started to flow down her cheeks, her voice finally giving up on her, only to be replaced with miserable sounding sobs and whimpers.

        "...Rose..."

Hiro stepped into the room and cautiously placed a hand on the girl's trembling shoulder.

"Rose... please. We all can't bear to see you crying like this..."

But she couldn't stop. The tears continued to pour out of her eyes, the usual bright green color of her eyes seeming to darken the longer she sat there sobbing.

Hiro took a seat next to Rose and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer towards him.

She felt limp as Hiro pulled her in, all feeling of her limbs having turned numb along with her emotions save for the dreadful feeling of sadness filling her heart up. Rose pressed her face into Hiro's shirt, her hands now gripping hold of the fabric as she cried.

"Rose... it's okay. I know Tadashi is gone and people will tell you that he's not really gone as long as you remember him... and I know how much it must hurt... but he's not really gone, okay?"

Rose shook her head slowly, her cries now muffled by Hiro's shirt. She couldn't accept it. The fact that he was... gone. But deep down she knew he was. And no matter what Hiro said, she couldn't help but continue to cry as the heartache continued to throb in her chest.

        "Rose... please."

But she couldn't find her voice. It was as if she was unable to speak anymore, losing her ability to form words or even think.

"Hello. I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion."

        "Baymax...? How did you activate?"

"I heard a sound of distress coming from Rose."

        "... You know Rose?"

"I was programmed by Tadashi to recognize all of his closest companions. What seems to be the trouble?"

But Rose couldn't find it in herself to even attempt to respond let alone look at Baymax. Despite the fact that she had been feeling so excited on the plane ride over to see the finished product, she no longer felt the urge to do anything except hide away from the world and cry.

        "Bells... can you hear me?"

A smooth and calming voice suddenly broke the girl's crying trance. She slowly detached herself from Hiro and looked up. A towering, white figure stood in front of her, but on it's belly was a lit screen. A video recording.

"Bells, if you are listening to this then that means you've come back to San Fransokyo! I knew it! I guess I get to keep my hat now."

She watched Tadashi perform a little victory dance in the screen, causing her to let out a pitiful sounding sob/laugh.

"Anyways, this also means that this is your first time meeting Baymax. Say hello! Maybe give him a hug... he gives the best hugs...

But regardless, I just wanted to say thank you. If it weren't for you and your constant motivation, I don't think I could have ever finished this huggable snowman of a robot.

So this is from me to you."

Rose watched the screen with a somewhat amused looked as Tadashi kissed the camera, leaving a slight smudge mark on the lens. She smiled softly, her sobbing now having stopped and her tears having lessened considerably.

"I love you and always will... don't forget that, okay? I wished you could've stayed in San Fransokyo. I really miss you. But if you're watching this then that means you're here, right? So that means it's time to celebrate!"

Tadashi smiled, touching the screen as if he were trying to reach out to Rose.

"Alright, I've got to go for now. I've got to check up on Hiro and make sure he's not making a mess outside. I'll see you soon!"

Then the video stopped and flickered off, returning to Baymax's normal, white vinyl build.

Rose sniffled and swallowed, wiping away the last tears away from her face.

Even with Tadashi being gone... she could feel his presence all around her. It took her a moment to realize what is was, but when she finally realized she couldn't help but smile. It was everyone. Hiro. Honey. Wasabi. GoGo. Fred. Baymax. Their presence and amount of care they had on making Rose feel better resembled the feeling of safety Rose always felt whenever she was with Tadashi.

Even with him being gone... he wasn't really truly gone, was he?
