SWMRS: Love On Tour

The Day Before

(Authors note: Ally and Catt are Tre's daughters)

Catt's pov

It was early afternoon and my sister Ally and I were rushing to finish packed before we head off on tour with SWMRS and my band Chapped tomorrow. We had basically grown up with the SWMRS boys. Well we had grown up with the Armstrong boys, Joey and Jakob, seeing as our dad Tré was their dad Billie's best friend and band mate. And because we were so close with Joey and Jakob, we were close with the Beckers too.

I was trying to stuff 2 pairs of Doc Martens boots into my case when someone knocked on our door.
"Come in!" I screamed at the door thinking it was our dad, "oh it's you" I retorted as Jakob Armstrong, and Ally's boyfriend, came into the room.
"I came to see how my girl and her sister were getting on with their packing" he said as he hugged Ally and kissed her cheek. Ally and Jakob have been dating for about 4 years, they started dating when they were 17 and they're now nearly 22, so yeah 4 years ish. I'm bad at maths. No one was surprised when they told us they were dating, they had always been super close growing up, we all knew it was only a matter of time before they got togther.
"I'm all done, just waiting on this bitch to work out how to fit her shoes into that case" Ally said laughing at me. I was now lying on top of my case to try and close it. I got a mini round of applause from Jakob and Ally when I finally got it to close.
"Thank you, thank you" I say while bowing, "glad my struggles are of such entertainment."

After shoving both mine and Ally's cases into the hall, and being shouted at by my dad because "someone could trip over them", I head back into our room and disrupt the love birds' (who were now cuddling on Ally's bed) peace by putting Drive North on on my record player. I'd always been a fan of vinyl, my dad's influence I think.
"I can't believe it's less than 24 hours until we're on the road and playing with these boys" I said as I danced around the room.
"Yeah, and with a certain Becker boy" Ally commented.
"Oh shut up!" I say back and roll my eyes at her. It was only Ally and Jakob that knew of my little crush, ok, rather huge crush on Cole Becker. I'd had a crush on him for as long as I can remeber. And this sounds stupid coming from a 20 year old, but I never did anything about it because 1) I felt I was too close with Joey and dating his best friend who's also my friend would ruin too many friendships and 2) as we got older, girls were always interested in Cole, and he always had a girlfriend.
"You know you spend at lot of time together on tour, and that means you get super close" Jakob said and started making mocking kissy faces.
"Don't get my hopes up Armstrong" I retorted back, still dancing.

What I hadn't told them was that during all this tour prep, Cole and I had gotten close. Between working on songs together and late night schedule organisation, we'd spent a lot of time together. It had kind of become this unspoken thing between us, that we both liked each other.

"Hey guys, we're going to the Armstrong's for dinner, a little get together before u guys go off on tour" my dad said poking his head into the room, "oh hi Jakob"
"Hi Tré, so it's off to mine" Jakob stood up and took Ally's hands and pulled her up onto her feet.
"Dad, are the Beckers going to be there?" I ask sounding way too hopeful, god I sound like a teenager again.
"Emm, yeah probably" my dad said as he headed back downstairs. I do a little fist pump to myself and Ally and Jakob noticed.
"Oooh dinner with Cole" I got from both of them. Warranting another eye roll from me. Honestly Ally is the most supportive person when it comes to me being head over heals for Cole, she's always the one I can talk to, help figure things out (AN: see what I did there) emotionally. Yeah she's only a year and a bit older than me, but she still has great advice. She also likes to make fun of me, knowing I know it's all in good spirit.

DINNER AT THE ARMSTRONG HOUSE

Ally's POV

"Are you ready to go, girls?" Dad asked from downstairs. "Yeah, yeah in a second," Catt answered and sprinted into the bathroom. Jakob and I exchanged looks and started laughing. "Come on Catt, it's just Cole," I said while knocking at the door. Catt opened the door and shushed me, her reaction made me laugh even harder. "Do I look okay?" she asked. "Yes girl, you look amazing. Now get your ass downstairs, I'm hungry as fuck," I said and grabbed her hand to pull her downstairs where everyone was waiting for us. "I thought I'd never see the day," Dad said and huffed out in fake annoyance. Since the Armstrongs luckily lived very close to our house we decided to save the environment and walk there. We were led by Sara and Dad, which were followed by Catt pushing Mickeys stroller and making him laugh uncontrollably. Jakob and I walked a bit slower and just enjoyed each others company

"Catt, no offense but did you take a bath in your perfume?" Jakob laughed. Catt stopped immediately and turned around to hit him playfully. "Shut up, Armstrong," she answered, trying to sound dangerous but failing miserably. "Or?" "Or I'm gonna make you very unhappy. We'll be on tour together for a few weeks, don't forget that bro," she answered. "Oh damn, I'm scared," Jake and Catt laughed. "Please don't make him too unhappy, Catt. I have to share a fucking bunk with him," I snorted. "Oh would you rather sleep alone, sweetie?" Jakob teased and gave me his sweetest smile. "Yes, I think I would prefer that," I answered, killing the smile on his adorable face. "Just kidding babe," I said, smushed cheeks together and quickly kissed his lips that made him look like a fish. We finally made it to the humble abode of the Armstrong Family. Sara and dad made space for Jakob to unlock the front door and we followed him inside. I immediately kicked off my shoes and ran into the living room where I almost collided with Joey. "Look who finally made it," I heard Billie say from the kitchen. Joey and I hugged each other tightly and he ruffled my black hair. He knew exactly how much I hated it, so I pushed him away from me and flipped him off but he just gave me a stupid smile. After I greeted everyone, Jakob and I watched Catt greeting Cole and we really had tried our hardest not to laugh out loud.

Both of them blushed madly and it was kind of awkward, but also really cute. "Aw, young love. That's so exciting," Jakob whispered in my ear, locked his arms around me and placed a kiss on my head. I giggled and watched my litte sister greet Seb. We all sat down around the huge dining table and began to chit chat straight away. Of course the tour was the main topic and everyone could feel the excitement in the room. Jakob and I both kept watching Catt and Cole, we're the only ones who know about her feelings towards him and obviously we were very excited. We shipped them so of course we didn't miss the small moments when their eyes met or how they looked at each other when they talked. Catt knew we were observing them which made her blush even more. After we finished dinner, Jakob and I volunteered to clean up. For some strange reason, I always loved doing chores together with Jakob. We talked about the tour and what we wanted to do on our off days, occasionally we stopped for a few seconds to cuddle and make out but no one needs to know that.

After we were done we joined the others who were already cuddled up on the sofas in the living room. Max saved me a spot next to him and I started annoying the shit out of him. We all had such an amazing time, laughing, talking and just enjoying each others company that we didn't realize that it was well after midnight and we should've been asleep already. Sara carefully picked up Mickey who fell asleep hours ago and sat him down in his stroller. "Are you gonna come home with us or stay here?" Dad asked. "Uh, I think I'm gonna stay here dad. If that's okay?" I said and looked at Billie and Adie. "Of course, sweetie," Adie answered and smiled at me. I hugged Dad, Sara and Catt and wished them a good night. Then I bent down and placed a kiss on my brothers cheek. Pretty soon they all left and it was just Billie, Adie, Joey and me. Jakob already fell asleep and only woke up when Adie and I were almost done tiding up. "Where's everyone?" he asked and yawned. "It's 3am babe, they already left," I answered and laughed at my sleepy boyfriend. "Well then what are you still doing here?" he grinned. "Would you rather sleep alone tonight?" I joked. "Yes I'd prefer that," he laughed. "Hey, be nice to your girlfriend. She's the only one that puts up with your shit," Adie whisper-shouted from the kitchen. Jakob tackled me into a hug and placed wet kisses all over my face. "Okay babe, time to get you to bed," I tried to say in between his kisses and dragged him upstairs after hugging Adie and telling her good night.
