Small silluette of a woman sat in a corner of adark room. The poor thing was shivering in the darkness, the shadows hiding her painful grin. Tiles resembling chessboard were covered with shatters of a broken heart and glass and dark blood spilling and dripping from the womans body.

Lena looked on her fingers. One after one the crimson tears fell from the tips into the pool of pain her lover, her star, her Olivia caused.

This time it was different. This time Lena was not going to get up and clean up the shatters and spilt vodka on the floor.

This time Olivia was not going to come back and kiss her with a smile on her beautiful, wild face.

This time Lena was not going to try to forget. Forget the screaming, the crying and the beating endured and caused by a broken soul of a lost person.

Everything because of those hadcuffs. Everything because of the metal rings around her wrists.

Everything because of her mothers concerned voice on the phone.

Because Lena finally realised despite the love she gave, she was broken.

Like Billy.

Maybe, like Billy she will never see herself again. Maybe she will be too weak to open her eyes.

It will be just like sleep without dreams.

Peaceful.

Lena carefully takes off one of her cheap earrings, with her trembling hands. She saw Olivia do it hundred times.

When Olivia stole the snowy white lily from the botanics museum.
When Olivia took revenge on her father, when he kicked Lena out.
or when Olivia...

Soft sobs left Lenas lips and she wished Nick was there to hug her and tell her he loved her, even if she didn't. Even if her heart, soul and mind were Olivias. Even if she let Olivia crush her.

Two walls, one hall. That is what was between him and her.
All she, however wanted was to rush to Olivia and embrace her in her love. But there was much more between Olivia and Lena than walls and halls. Even the oceans and miles of fields were shorter than the distance between their minds.

Love pained Lena so much. More than the hancuffs cutting her wrists.

The click of the metal was colder than her shivering lips. There was so much blood. She imagined herself on the floor nearly subcouncious drawing hearts from red paint Olivia made her bleed.

Lena wanted to stay.

She wanted to be with her Olivia even if it wasn't her happy ever after.

But she couldn't.
She couldn't...
She just couldn't...

Like the Little Mermaid, every step she made was as if she was stabbed by thousands of blades.

Suddenly she lost her footing and fell on her hands. Blood under her feet made her slip.
She felt dizzy. Maybe it was because of the blood. She was tired. So, so... tired.

Lena saw two feet making her way towards her.
She couldn't say if they were moving slowly like a predator teasing its prey or fast like a bull running towards the moving flag.

It didn't matter. Both terrified her.

Olivia did.

Lena was about to die.
