Glad I Could Be Your First

I slowly opened up eyes and the first thing I could make out through the blurriness was...a bottle of vodka? I looked around as my vision returned and I saw that I was staring at my bedside table which I then saw the photos were there.

"How did I get here? I don't remember climbing into bed."

Then as I regained feeling in the rest of my body I moved my hands to feel down to where the knife had cut into me but I felt a bandage and when I looked down I saw that there was one and someone had stitched up the wound.

"Who the fuck did this?"

"Fucking dammit!" I heard Audrey's voice yell out from the kitchen.

I couldn't help but chuckle even though it hurt like fuck.

"I guess Audrey ended up coming here for something and found me on the floor I'm guessing."

"Oh you're awake." Audrey said as she walked into my room.

I gave her a smile as she walked over and sat a plate of what looked like pancakes and a glass of water on the bedside table. Then she did something I never expected her to, she reached out to hold my chin and move my head around and ran her fingers across my face.

"Well it doesn't look like they'll scar so you don't need to worry about any extra scars." She told me bluntly.

"Yeah, wouldn't want to add anymore to this pretty face." I said as I chuckled. "Ouch..."

"I'm surprised you're able to laugh, let alone breath properly. That knife was so close to cutting into your diaphragm."

She let go of my chin and picked up the plate of pancakes and cut herself a piece and ate it before cutting up a bit and holding it on front of me.

"You gonna feed me are you?" I asked inquisitively.

"Just shut up and eat before I force it down your throat asshole." She threatened in a low voice.

"She seems on edge, best not to upset her anymore."

I leaned forward slightly and took the piece off the fork and began chewing. I was expecting it to be raw in the middle but it was actually quite nice, there were even bits of apple running through it which was added a nice sweet taste to it. I swallowed my food but as it ran down my throat I couldn't help but cough as it stung, clear signs that I was a bit dehydrated from nearly bleeding out.

"Here." Audrey said as she held out the glass of water to me. "You're gonna need to drink as much water as possible today since you lost a massive amount of blood."

I thanked her as I took the glass of water and drank the whole glass, it was refreshing, making me want more but I'd rather not ask Audrey for too much.

"Did you want more?" She asked.

"No it's alright, I'll get more for myself." I told her.

I went to roll onto my side when a shooting pain was sent through my body, I couldn't help but yell out as the pain made my entire body feel like it was being engulfed in acid. Audrey quickly moved as she put the plate and glass down and came to my side the move me onto my back as she made sure I hadn't ripped the stitches.

"You know you're gonna have to stay in bed for today at least." She said as she sat back from me.

"Funny, you sound like you've been in this situation before." I sarcastically said to her.

"Kind of, my father was very knowledgeable in first aid and taught me everything he knew. I had plenty of chances to practice so I got quiet good at it."
