To all the volleyball boys (Haikyuu various x fem reader)

I look into the mirror and take note of how puffy my eyes are. Maybe crying this much wasn't a good idea, hopefully no one notices.

I walk out of the bathroom when I run into someone. I wince as my butt hits the ground. "Hey watch out- oh y/n...Are you hurt?"

I look up to see Iwaizumi. "Yeah, no it's fine. It's my fault for not paying attention."

He kneels down in front of me, "Are you crying?" I look away from him avoiding his gaze. "No no no, I'm just... my eyes are sweaty. *sigh* that sounds gross. You caught me, I was crying"

I look down ashamed. He just chuckles and lifts my chin up. He takes his thumb and wipes away a tear. Iwaizumi stands up and offers me a hand "Come one, lets go get dinner before the food gets cold."

I grab his hand and pulls me up. "Oh here this belongs to you" he says handing me some envelope. And by the way, you're the perfect one, y/n."

He smirks then starts to walk away leaving me dumbfounded. I open the envelope revealing the letter I one wrote for him.

Dear Iwaizumi,

Remember the first time we saw each other? I met you at Oikawa's party that one time.

You were standing across the room when our eyes met; my little heart started doing backflips in this fickle chest of mine.

Your eyes were dark brown; I couldn't help but get lost in your eyes. I was never one to believe in love at first sight however, looking at you made time stop.

Right then I thought I knew I would fall deeper than anyone could.

We started talking at the party, mostly making fun of how dumb Oikawa is. I couldn't help but, blush every time you smiled. It's like the world collapses when you smile.

After the party, I'd always see you going to Oikawa's house. I would always run out to the street just to wave at you. If you knew the silly things I did just to catch your eye. This feeling was so new, too scared to fall for you.

One time I saw you going over to Oikawa's with a girl. I'm not really sure why but it hurt. You guys looked really close so, I decided that we won't ever be more than just friends. Sometimes I wish you'd open up the doors to my heart that I sealed but, it looks like you already in someone else's heart.

I can't help but wonder, do you compare yourself to Oikawa sometimes? It's probably hard to deal with him and all his dumb fan girls. You're pretty cool in you own way too, you're funny and even though you act thought, I can tell you're a total softie. In all honesty, you're too good to be true. I mean have you looked at you?
You're perfect, I'm daunted.

Maybe I'm in over my head but, risk it all, take a chance with me and fall.
