I don't know why I thought Carter would change his ways as I saw him making out with a girl I hardly knew in his car. I guess the bad boy hardly changes. By the looks of things, he wasn't sick. He looked just fine to me.

Well, after the conversation with my mom, I called an old number. Mrs. Brown.

Mrs. Brown was our old neighbor. She moved away a few weeks ago. She was friends with my mom and I remembered that she owned a grocery store a few blocks from my house. If anyone could help me it was her. She said I could meet up with her later today.

A finger snaps in front of me and I look up to see Carter with his cocky expression "Hey Kitty."

"Hey yourself."

He looks past me and gives a flirty wink. I look behind me to see the girl he was making out with earlier. I roll my eyes.

When she disappeared in the crowd I ask "So, you and..." I try to think of her name but nothing came in mind.

"Jessica? No, that was a onetime thing." I nod but he continues "She's too clingy and not to mention yesterday when we were-" I quickly cover his mouth with my hand. I've heard enough. I think back to when I texted him and he didn't reply. I guess he was busy.

All my thoughts disappear as I feel a wet and sticky substance on my hand. Did he... No. Sure enough, Carter's saliva was on my hand. "Ew," I say as I rub my hand his shirt.

He just stands there dying of laughter as I narrow my eyes at him.

"What's going on here?" Lee and the rest of my friends appear out of nowhere.

Today my mom dropped me off since Mia couldn't make it. It was very awkward. I was still angry with her for hiding all those things from me. Only God knows whether she would have told me about my dad calling if I didn't find out on my own.

I snap back in reality as Carter says "Kitty was just finding ways to touch me."

I glare at him. "Why would I want to do that? I don't know where you've been."

"Oh please, everyone wants a piece of this."

Why does he always think that? Not everything was about him. I roll my eyes and I glance at Caleb. Now Caleb would never say something like that. He was just too sweet.

"Not everyone," I mumble.

Before he replies "Shut it. You guys argue too much." Mia says.

For the thousandth time, I roll my eyes. Of course, she would say that.

The crowd starts to part in two. I look around questionably and saw them. Brittney and her group. On her right was Rachel and on her left was Carol. "Uh oh. Well, that's my cue to leave." I hear Carter say.

"What? Why?"

"Brittney's been pissing me off. Doesn't she know the meaning of no?" I was still confused as he tries to hide but it was too late he was already spotted.

"Carter."

"Shit." I hear him mumble.

She makes her way toward him and places her hand on his shoulder "Carter you can't be serious. Of all people, you're with that slut Jessica. I know you in ways better than she does."

Carter cringes as he takes a step backward. "How many times do I have to tell you? No, no, and a thousand more times no."

Could she be any more annoying?

"I'm sorry but do you have something to say to me?" She says and was now in front of me. I saw that a crowd was formed. It was like people didn't have things to do.
