Ginny weasley sighed as lounged on the comfortable arm chair near the fire in the cosy Gryffindor common room enjoying its comfort. It was her last month at Hogwarts and she wanted to savour the moments of the comfort it gave her.
The Quiditch practise session had taken most of her evening, but she was very proud as the captain, of what her team had achieved today.
Ginny looked at the letters in her hand which a first year boy had kindly delivered to her. One was from her boyfriend whom she missed so dearly and couldn't wait for the year to be over to be in his arms again.
The other one was from her best friend in the world Hermionie Granger. Hermionie had been the sister she had craved for, for years.
Having six brothers to deal with wasn't easy. She always felt she needed some estrogen energy her age around, and god had sent Hermionie.
She opened her letter first.
Dear Ginny,
I hope you are well? How is the Quiditch coaching going on? I don't know much about Quiditch but I have full trust in you that Gryffindor will win the house cup this year too.
Everything is fine here, I am busy with work too. You were right being a healer is much more than I expected it to be. I feel the need to be in the library most of the time, but I love it. We might start with wizarding surgical procedures next week !! Pretty excited for that.
Today though something happened, I went on the broomstick with Draco ! It was a nice ride a little scary towards the end when we almost were about to crash. But don't worry he caught me. We had a little moment. I know it doesn't mean anything right ?
Love you, missing you loads
Hermione
Ps- Please tell Ron where you hid his new quidditch books he is really sorry about ruining your posters!Ginny was half amused half worried. Hermione Granger, the greatest witch of her age was in a fix.
She knew very well how well thought the letter was. She had very well talked about other stuff to disguise what she actually wanted to talk about.
Her closeness with their former foe was worrisome but Draco had proved them all wrong in the past few months. What moment had they had ? She wanted to know every detail of it. And wrote a quick reply asking for it making it a point to send it by school owls next day.
Mrs. Weasley looked at the two occupants now occupying her small dinning table, which was barely visible under all the different books they had scattered around.
She sat there happily knitting while they tried something called Suturing. They both had gloves on with scissors, a magical thread and were practising on chicken breasts.
"Why does it have to be done by hands again?" asked Draco struggling with his thread.
"Because Proffesor Pyre said so. When Mr. Weasley was bitten by Nagini he had tried to use muggle method of suturing and stiches.
Well the problem now is that he was succesful in using magic to evolve it so it is very beneficial for patients but he has not yet found a wand movement. As though, the thread is beneficial it might snap if wand movement is wrong"
Said Hermionie struggling too.Harry and Ron grinned at each other from the opposite side as their old Hermionie was back, who knew each line from textbooks but were also amused to see her struggling to do a task.
