Chapter 2

- You groggily wake up, replenished from all the energy you lost, you stand up and felt hopeless as the memories that happened stab into you like throwing daggers, you didn't want to live anymore, you felt lifeless, in the brink of insanity, but the knowledge that your friend is still alive gave you hope, strength, and determination -

"Don't worry Ais, I'll find you." You said in a monotone voice totally different from your cheerful demeanor

- You walk around the town but stopped when you remembered the pendant you found yesterday, you take it out of your pocket and hold it in your hands, same as yesterday it starts to emit black smoke, you tried to summon it again -

"Live?" You say, but the pendant didn't do anything

"Summon." You say confidently, but it still didn't respond, and you are starting to get furious

"Rise!" You shout, it didn't respond, but something extraordinary happened

- You see black smoke start to come out of the corpses of the inhabitants of the town, it forms in front of you, after a few seconds the smoke dissipated and dropped a new pendant with a different looking mask, you look at it and start to laugh maniacally -

"Is this a gift from the Gods?" You wondered

- More time pass of you trying to figure out how to summon it, you were angry, and in a fit of rage you throw the pendant to the ground, it starts to crack making you worry, but smoke starts to come out of it and forms the creature -

"Finally! I got to summon it!" You shout cheering

- You throw the other pendant, but nothing happened, you look closely and see that it isn't fully formed yet. You leave town gathering food from the nearby stalls and left -

"As I hate to leave my home town, I'm literally not gonna get anywhere staying here." You say

- You walk for 2 hours taking a break under a tree if needed, you are running out of food, but fortunately for you, you stumbled upon a bandit camp, you start to think if they were the bandits that attack your village, you hide under a bush and eavesdrop on their conversation -

"That was a great raid!" A random bandit proudly states

"Yeah! the woman on the farm gave me a great time, sad that our employer told us not to leave any survivors, she would've made a great sex slave!" The bandit said disappointed, before laughing

- Those words stab you deep in your heart, in anger you crush the pendant in your hand, once again the creature you now refer as "The Trapper" spawned, it looks at you awaiting your order -

"Kill them all! Except for one!" You angrily said to him

- Trapper nodded in response and raised its hand, you hear a couple of bear traps get triggered followed by the screams of the bandits, after a couple of seconds the screaming died down leaving only one man alive, he was also in the clutches of a bear trap but not poisoned. You approach him with Trapper following you, the man looks at you wide-eyed as if he's seen a ghost -

"You! H-how are you a-alive!? I saw them s-stab you in the h-he-heart after you f-fell down!" The bandit nervously shouts in confusion

- You paid no mind to the man's ramblings, you ordered Trapper to lift him up which he does, Trapper lift the man from his feet, his tall and muscular frame made the bandit look little beside him -

"Where are the other bandits?" You ask him

"W-what ot-others!?" He asks trying to lie, but it just angers you more

- In response, Trapper conjured a bear trap in his hand and triggered it on the bandit's shoulder, as it clamps you can hear the spikes piercing the flesh along with breaking the bones, the bandit screams in excruciating pain -

"Alright! *pant* I-I'll tell you *pant*." The bandit says as he catches his breath keeping himself from passing out

"Where!?" You say impatiently

"The other side of the mountain! They're preparing to attack another village!" The bandit hurriedly answer

"Hold onto him for a bit longer, Trapper." You command

- You walk to the middle of the camp stealing all the valis you can put in your bag, once in the middle you stood holding the second pendant -

"Rise!" You shout getting the same response from the last one

- As the black smoke converge with the pendant, you see it form the cracked and missing parts, you smile and break it in your hands, a tall and a rather thin man spawned -

"What's your power?" You ask the creature

- It raised its unusual weapon and hit a bell three times and to your surprise, turned invisible -

"Cool! I guess I'll call you... Wraith." You said, still with a smile plastered on your face

"Monster! Demon! You are evil incarnate! You used my comrade's souls to make that creature!" The bandit proclaimed shaking

"Scout the other side of the mountain, I need more information." You ordered and turned to the bandit

- The bandit got more scared seeing the grin torn in your face, he tries to leave, but the grasp of Trapper keeps him from doing so -

"So, Mr. Bandit, who hired you?" You creepily ask him

"Ares! Ares hired us!" He answered rapidly

"And why!?" You asked again slowly getting mad

"He told us that no God acknowledges him ever since he went here, so he tries to get reputation by killing towns and villages." The bandit answers slowly calming down

"All this just for attention! My family! My friends! All dead just for some popularity! Alright, I'm done with this! Dispose of him."

"What!? What!? No!!" The bandit begged before being decapitated

- Trapper throws his body into the ground and turns back into a pendant. Wraith returns and hands you a scroll -

"The location of Ares' camp. Good! What about the other bandits?" You ask

- Wraith only shows you his bloody weapon signifying that he killed all the bandit members in the other camp -

"Lead me there, we need to gather their souls so we can make a new one." You command

- Wraith starts to walk, you follow him wondering to yourself how he could've cleared the camp on his own -

'The camp must've had only 10 to 12 members, if so why would they split up wouldn't they be stronger if they just settled in inside one camp.' You thought to yourself

- After a couple of seconds, you reach it and look at the camp awestruck and wide-eyed -

"Holy Gods!" You said seeing hundreds of bandits all dead on the floor, you started laughing again at how overpowered you are
