Chapter 12

- You and Aiz dash towards the sound. You being faster, because of your level, got to the location first. You saw Bell fighting a Silverback. You are about to go and kill it, but Bell looks like he can handle it, so you leave him be. After a few seconds, Aiz joined you, she tried to go and help Bell, but you stop her. She looks at you quizically -

"What are you doing!? They're going to get killed!" She says hastily

"You already saved him once. Why not let him prove himself?" You say to her, she looks at Bell worried but follows you anyway

- After a couple of minutes, Bell successfully took down the Silverback. The inhabitants of Daedalus street all come out and starts applauding him. You can see the genuine smile from Bell, and Hestia's proud look on him. You look at Aiz and see she has the same proud look at Bell -

"Told you, he can handle it!" You say to Aiz with a smirk

"Barely." She says with a stoic expression

"What do you mean barely!" You shout in disbelief, she gestures you to look at them, and to your surprise, they both are passed out from exhaustion

"Uhh... Aiz, you think Loki will allow them to stay for a few hours?" You awkwardly ask, Aiz just sighs

"I'm sure Goddess Loki will let them stay there, after you just threatened her." Aiz says in a sarcastic tone

"I-is that a yes?" You ask scratching the back of your head

"Yes, now let's carry them to the Twilight Manor. You grab Hestia while I carry Bell." She says before going down from the rooftops

- You are against Aiz carrying Bell because he is heavier, but you remember his crush on her -

'Bell's reaction later will be PRICELESS!" You thought to yourself while chuckling

- You and Aiz walked to the Twilight Manor discussing what happened to her -

"Oh! So they were called to our village, but they were already late." You say saddened but a little happy that at least someone tried to come for the rescue

"We passed by your farm and saw you dead! How is it that you're still alive?" She says with intrigue

"I... don't know. I just woke up, I thought the knight just knocked me out." You say with a puzzled tone

"Well, whatever it is that happened, I'm glad you're still alive. So, here we are, The Twilight Manor." She says with a smile before gesturing to the Twilight Manor

- You look at the Manor, it was majestic. Loki and the other members are in front waiting for Aiz to arrive, they all have happy smiles seeing Aiz made it back safely, but it was quickly replaced with a frown when they saw you along with Hestia & Bell -

"Wow! You have the balls to come here after what you did to my Goddess!" Bete says with venom in his voice, you didn't respond

- You handed Hestia to Aiz, and tried to get inside the gate, the guards tried to stop you, but you use your "Distressing" skill filling them with fear. The atmosphere is tense, as you walked closer to Loki the members pulled out their weapons, waiting for a fight. But they all went wide-eyed with what you did, you knelt down in front of her and bowed your head -

"I'm sorry for how I acted earlier, Goddess Loki. I mistook you as kidnappers, but you took care of my best friend, you gave her hope, a family, and a good life. I am forever indebted to you! But I just have one more favor to ask, can my Familia members please stay at the Manor while they recover?" You ask her, looking into her eyes and using the most ultimate skill known to man, the "Puppy Dog Eyes."

- Loki tried to overcome it, but instantly gave in after a couple seconds, she looks at the other members of the Familia waiting for their approval, they all nodded except for Bete -

"Alright! But you're going to answer all my questions truthfully. Do we have a deal?" Loki says bringing out her hand

"Deal!" You say happily, while you shake her hand

- You set down your Familia members on the beds in the guest rooms, You look at Hestia and see that she still has that smile when Bell took down the Silverback. You hear someone knock the door, you opened it to see Aiz -

"Goddess Loki wants to ask the questions now, follow me." She says, you follow her

- After walking for a while, she leads you to a room, you enter and see the members and Loki sporting a grin, Loki gestures you to sit down, so you sat down across from them, you chuckle seeing them -

"What's with this? You look like kids waiting to hear a life story from an old man." You say, Loki laughs, but not at your joke

"It's because you are telling us your life story!" She says still laughing

"*Sigh* Where do I start?" You ask while pinching the bridge of your nose

"What was your relationship with Aiz back at your village?" Loki asks, the other members listen carefully, even Bete

"She was my best friend, and she still is right now." You answer, you see Loki sigh in relief at the words "Best Friend."

"How are you alive? The first time I saw you, you were dead, would you kindly explain to us your 'Ressurection'?" She asks intrigued at your answer

"I don't know." You answer

"What do you mean you don't know!? You told me you were going to answer all my questions!" Loki whines

"I don't know! I woke up with a headache, I didn't even know I died!" You say to her

"Alright! Fine!" She grumbles, her frown turns to a sadistic grin

'*Chuckles* I'm in danger.' You thought to yourself

"What are your powers?" She says with a grin

"Uh... my main power is called Entity's Grasp, it basically makes me reap souls of the dead, and it converts them into a humanoid creature that has a certain ability."

"Like what?" Loki asks tilting her head
